[Elvish]

Korin noticed, and slowed down a bit. He didn't want to exhaust Nala. He glanced from side to side, then stopped and said to Nala, "You stay here, I have a surprise." He turned and ran into the woods, trees a blur around him. When he was a little ways away, he atarted looking for prey.
Finally, he spied a small weasel. He ran up to it, and before it could react, he snapped it's neck in half. Bringing the kill back to Nla, he prided himself on the catch. Placing it at her feet, he murmured, "Here. For you."

Nala nodded, feeling quite useless as she sat down, but she didn't protest. She sighed softly as the cool, early morning breeze ruffled her fur, sending shivers down her spine as she silently awaited her brother's return. At one point she decided to lay down, resting her head on her paws and closing her eyes for a few minutes.
She looked up drowsily when Korin returned. She smiled, gladly accepting thw weasel. She consumed it quickly, finishing it within moments, and got back up, joining her brother. "Thank you. I'm feeling better now. We can keep moving." She told him as she nuzzled his face affectionatley.

[Elvish]

Korin smiled. "Good, let's go!" He started jogging in the direction of the forest, still a blur on the horizon. He felt the rough dirt and grass beneath his feet, the breeze ruffling his fur, and the sun on his face. He loved being a wolf, being free.

Nala followed behind him, her pale eyes focused on thier destination. After a while she began to relax, breaking into a steady, but quick pace. She closed her eyes, smiling contently as the wind ran through her thick pelt.
However, after a while Nala noticed something. The sky had turned dark and cloudy, and she could feel a slight, but distinct prickling in her fur. "Hey, Korin." She called softly. "I think it's gonna rain." She told him.

[Elvish]

Korin slowed down and nodded. "Yeah. I think your right." As if on cue, there was a slight thundering sound, and a patter of rain on their backs. "Let's find somewhere to lay low." He said, his dark caramel eyes sweeping over the nearby area.
"How about there?" he asked, nodding towards a large bush. It looked like it was somewhat hollow on the inside.

Nala nodded quickly, immediatley darting to the bush and ducking inside. A few light raindrops managed to leak through the bush, but it seemed to shelter her fairly well. She backed up, making sure there was enough room for Korin to join her.
She was glad to have shelter, but Nala was also begining to get slightly concerned. Her and her brother hadn't covered nearly as much ground as she had hoped that day. It would probably take them a while to arrive at the forest she had spotted.

[Elvish]

Korin looked at Nala with a slightly troubled look. "So, Nala..." he began, almost conversationally. "I've been thinking tat we haven't been making enough progress. Right now it's almost sundown, and we've only made it a few miles. Tomorrow, we need to move, and we need to move FAST."

Nala nodded in agreement, glad her brother had been thinking the same thing she had been. "I know. As soon as the sun comes up, we'll leave. I promise I won't be as lazy tommorow." She told her brother, sitting down and wrapping her thick tail around her paws to keep them warm.

[Elvish]

Korin smiled slightly, "Good, now let's get some sleep." He curled up next to Nala and drifted off into a deep sleep.

Nala nodded in agreement, laying down and curling up beside Korin, pressing her face into his side affectionatley. "G'night." She mumbled as she slowly closed her pale eyes, falling into a somewhat fitful slumber.
