Derek was snapped out of his reverie when he saw the young man in front of him again. "God damnit, man. Just leave me alone! What do you want? Money? I work part-time and make minimum wage. I can't afford a freaking pack of gum. And I'm sure that mental hospital you escaped from is missing you right now." he growled, stepping around the boy and continuing to walk. Normally, he would charm this boy, since he really wasn't bad looking, but he was in a horrible mood. He wasn't used to feeling guilt over one night stands, but he'd get over it soon, he was sure.

" Derek Elliot Bradshaw, I am not crazy," Kurt protested, spinning around to the boy. "I don't need to babysit you, I get it, and I don't want to either, but you're not exactly safe at the moment, alright?" he spat, crossing his arms furiously.

"Oh, you know my name. You must be some mystical f***ing being from another dimension. Can you see my future? Because of you can see that I'm bought to walk away..." Derek replied. Okay, at first it was strange, but this was getting weirder and weirder, and more and more frustrating. What was this guy's deal? Was he some con-artist or vigilante or kidnapper or something? He turned on his heel and began to walk away, ignoring completely what ever the strange boy said.

"You are impossible," Kurt growled, stalking after Derek. "I'm not letting you walk away, I've let too many people walk away from me! I've let too many people get taken!" he yelled, fists at his sides. A memory flashed across his eyes, causing him to freeze. He softened, his tone more reserved, more calm, "Listen, let me explain, alright? I'll buy you coffee," he murmured, unclenching his fists and taking a deep breath 'Now count to three, Kurt. There, better? Whenever you feel mad, just close your eyes, and count to three, alright?'

"Listen, buddy," Derek replied in a forced-calm tone, "I don't know who you think you are, and I don't know how you know who I am, but please, just let me leave and get on with my life. Maybe you should get some help or something." he pushed past the boy, then stopped. He had a weird feeling about him... So he turned back to glare at the stranger. "Fine. I could use a coffee." he conceded unhappily.

Kurt's demeanor relaxed and he nodded his head towards a shop that was opening nearby, certain to have coffee. "Follow me," He said bitterly, stalking to the coffee shop and sitting down in one of the booths. He relaxed himself, stretching. His wings were really cramped, but he didn't think now was the time to stretch or use them.

Logan made his zombie-like decent down the stairwell, eyes half closed. He was tripping over his long pajama bottoms almost every other step. Slumping down in the chair in the kitchen, he tilted his head back, draping an arm over his eyes. It was far to early, but he couldn't fall back to sleep. Opening his jaws to a loud yawn, he looked around. There were still a few boxes, he had only moved into this apartment a few weeks ago. His job was slow, there was barely any food in the fridge, and his house was so cold. Even with the heat on. Grabbing an apple from the fruit on the table, he took a bite, standing up and heading upstairs to get dressed.
He really hadn't needed to go downstairs. He wasn't that hungry, but it seemed he was to out of it to notice that himself. Logan was normally so graceful, so.. awake, but now he was angry, and just plain grumpy. Tugging on a pair of black skinny jeans, a tight white and red striped shirt, along with a grey vest, he heading back downstairs for the second tiime that morning, sighing. Getting on black high tops, he rubbed his eyes and headed to the chill outside world. Its not like anyone would be up to see his zombie like looks this early.

Jasper sighed to himself, wrapping his arms around his knees as he stared at the seemingly empty house. Lawrence's. Most others would think he looked completely creepy, just staring at a house this way, but he had a reason. His wings were stretched out behind him, looking like unseen shadows to mortals - well, except Lawrence. The boy didn't even know who he was, but he was always watching. Shaking his head to himself, he stared at the ground. This always seemed so..pedophile esque. Honestly, he was the same age as the boy when he died.. so it didn't matter. When was the boy going to head outside any way? He was bored. tugging at one of his insufferable curls, he wrinkled his nose, letting out a sigh.

Lawrence grumbled loudly, glowering at nothing in particular. He hated mornings. Mornings meant waking up, and Lawrence hated that part the most. Because, other than food, sleeping was what he enjoyed the most. Running a hand through his hair, he closed the fridge door; glancing down at his clothing. He figured he could get away with keeping this stuff on for now, considering he was only planning to go to the closest store and get some decent food that didn't need heated. He stretched for a few long moments, before heading back out into the hallway and feeling his way along to the front door. Lawrence fumbled blindly with he lock, before pulling the door open and stepping out into the dull light.

As soon as the boy turned away, Derek turned and quickly walked in the opposite direction. There was no way he was going anywhere with some crazy dude he'd just met on the street. Besides, he had stuff to do. And a job to get to. As a matter of fact... He glanced at his watch, then swore softly. He was going to be late again. He broke into a full out sprint towards his where he worked as a mechanic's 'apprentice', still thinking about the strange encounter. He couldn't even fathom what the boy had been expecting to gain from claiming that he was an angel. It didn't even make sense. He could've claimed to be a police officer or something if he wanted him to go with him that badly.

Kurt opened his sparkling blue eyes, which immediately switched from a light, warming glasz to a dark, bitter color. He stood himself up, and closed his eyes, hands clenched at his sides. He went to the counter and ordered two cups of coffee, and strode down the street, to where he knew Derek to be. He quickly appeared at the door of the shop, leaning against it and sipping at his own cup of coffee, waiting for Derek.
