Alex stiffened at that, looking up at Julian with an icy glare. "And what do you mean by that?"

"Boy, we know about your past. We always look into our buyers." Julian grinned.

"D-don't bring it up." Alex muttered, avoiding the elder's eyes.

Alex's grip tightened on the glass to the point that it shattered in his hand, cutting his skin so that his sweet vampire blood dripped onto the lamenate.

Carson's eyes widened and he rushed over, trying to pick it all up, he ended up cutting himself several times but didnt notice as he began to bleed.

At the scent of the blood, Julian's pupils dialated, eyes turning a deep crimson. He instantly grippd the couch hard, trying to control himself.

Alex backed away from the boy, biting his lip. "Carson! Get yourself cleaned up! Now!"
