The Master and His Slave (1x1)

Alex was genuinely terrified. He was scared of being caught out, of loosing Carson, of what would happen to the boy. "Are there any penalties for the masters?" He asked in an attempt to come across as one of the typical vampires, caring only for his own well being.

"No Blood. For four months, three weeks, and six days." Julian said smirking. A vamprie could live only 5 months without blood, meaning the penalty was a day away from death.

Carson stayed where he was put in the kitchen, still afraid.

Alex stumbled back a few paces, but it didn't quite register. "You mean you practically kill them?" He muttered, though without Carson at his side he very much doubted his life would be worth living. It would be a much better fate than the boy, too. The young vampire knew that too well.

"Yes sir. Then the boy of course woul be punished for his breaking the rules, severly may I add, before resold." Julian explaind while smirking widely.

Alex had to stop himself from lunging at the other vampire, from wiping the stupid smirk off of his face. He merely growled in response, glaring at Julian through his fringe.

Julian merely chuckled darkly. "Well? Dont stop me from your feeding."

"Carson? Drink please!" Alex called, meeting Julian's eyes a few seconds later. "I prefer mine chilled."

"Please? Dont bother with manners, its a slave kid, they dont care." Julian smirked. "Oh? And how do you do it?Drink him then if you prefer the cold." Julian asked, knowing his answer could be valuable.

Carson got some blood quickly and took it to Alex.

"My parents raised me with manners." Alex muttered, taking the glass from Carson and sipping it slowly. He stayed silent after that, ignoring any later questions.

Something was definately wrong here, and Julian sensed it. The boy didnt seem afraid of Alex, but was of Julian. The boy had to bite or whipping wounds. He wore no uniform.Nothing. "Tell me, why is your slave so.. Different?"
