"Whatever." Alex rolled his eyes, grinning, and sat down opposite Carson.

Carson giggled adorably and began to spoon his food into his mouth, not closing his mouth as he chewed.

Alex groaned. "Shut your mouth. You'll dribble milk." He chuckled, reaching over to close the boy's mouth for him.

Carson giggled a bit, but complied.

Then, the doorbell rang and Carson groaned, swallowing. "Umm, I'll get it." He said, jumping off his seat.

Alex nodded, relaxing back in the chair with a yawn. "Yeah, okay. Thanks."

Carson nodded and walked over to the door, opening it slowly. A guy that looked like This was standing there, with bright red eyes and his fangs showing.

Julian grinned. "Carson right? I'd like to be let in, if you please." He said with a smirk, the boy noding fearfully and opening the door.

Alex stood in the living room, hair messy and dressed only in an old white tee and sweatpants. He yawned loudly rubbing at his eyes. "Who is it?"

Julian walked into the living room without being asked, Carson quickly shutting the door and following, arms behind his back and hands clasped.

"I am Julian Romano. I work for the Auctioneer you bought your slave from. We do a cheek up for the first few months to make sure things are going.. As we want." Julian smirked.

Alex raised his head defiantly, most likely coming across as cocky as he was still practically a baby. He cast Julian a glare nonetheless. "And by 'as we want', you mean?"

"No softness, No lazyness, No helping the slave out, No sympathy, Things like that." Julian said with a smirk, leaning against the wall.

Carson's eyes widened with fear, looking quickly at Alex.
