Bill picked up the phone. "Hello...?" he said tiredly.

"hey, sorry to bother you sir..." The man said, quiet friendly. "erm...do you, by any chance, own a black dog? kinda...chunky...?"

"Yes, why?" Bill asked, confused.

[Corporate Cannibal]

"for the past few nights it's been sneeking into our store room for freebies and they're finnaly disagreeing with him." He explained. "I'll bring him back...but I wanted to check you were his owner, so many people take on a dog then dump it..."

"Oh no...! I am so sorry sir, I had no idea..." Bill sighed. "Thank you for notifying me."

"don't worry about it mate!" the man said. "since the boss changed the stuff in the food, dogs all over the place been going nuts for it, my dog included..." The man went quiet for a bit. "You work for Dain don't you? British guy with long hair?"

Bill almost dropped the phone. "Yes..." he said hesitatingly. "How did you know?"

"Imma War Demon. Looks like me and you might be doing some work together. Anywho, I'll bring your dog back, chow~" The man hung up the phone and looked at Ebmer. "my dog's bigger..." He heaved Ember into his van and drove down to Bill's.

Bill was a bit flustered after that conversation. He sighed and got dressed, waiting for the man to bring Ember home.

The man pulled up outside and knocked on Bill's door, looking back at his van.
