Bill gave Ember a belly rub. "Goodnight," he said with a kind smile.

Friesia put her book down. Guess I should be getting to sleep as well.

Ember yipped happily and wagged his tail.

Bill went to sleep in his room.

Christopher didn't get home until it was almost midnight.

Cat and her kittens were asleep on the sofa.

Ember waited till he was sure Bill was asleep before sneeking out to the dog food factory again. Ember's stomach was now on the floor as he struggled home, he got stuck in the dog flap, taking him longer to get out, he didn't get back to bed till a few hours in the morning before Bill woke up. He flopped in his bed and snuggled down, his stomach hanging off the side.

Christopher smiled a bit at the cats. He sighed. If Cat knew what I did every night...

Bill woke up early the next morning.

Ember desided to catch at least a few hours sleep...

Cat twitched her ears.

Bill smiled at Ember. He's just like a big fluffball... Wait a minute. He looked at Ember again. Is it just me, or is he bigger than last time?

Christopher was asleep in his room, exhausted.

Ember twitched his ears slightly in his sleep, dreaming about food~

Bill got breakfast for the two of them. Must just be me...

Friesia was curled up on the couch, still sleeping.

Ember smilt breakfast and looked up at Bill from his bed.
