Ember put his large paws up on Bill's shoulder, wagging his tail happily.

Bill smiled. "Come on then, we need to get somethin' for your sunburn." Bill ruffled Ember's head fur.

Ember yelped slightly. He felt sore all over...

Bill gave him a sympathetic look, his face was hurting too. "Come on, the sooner we get you something, the better."

Ember nodded slightly.

Bill put Ember's collar on carefully. "Let's go." He walked down to the pet store.

the collar rubbes against Ember's burnt neck...he whimpered quietly...being a domestic pet really had made him soft...

"It's alright, we'll get something for you in a moment," Bill said as they arrived at thepet store.

Ember sighed, he just wanted to scratch the collar off, but he couldn't reach that far and it's only make the problem worse...

Bill bought some ointment for Ember's burn and left. He took Ember home and removed his collar. "There, that's probably a bit better." He put some ointment on Ember's burn. "Feeling better?"
