Friesia was confused. "B-but..." Jesu had replaced any good memories of Dain with bad ones, making Friesia terribly afraid of Dain.

Dain put his hands on her face softly. "I promise, I have never hurt you and I never will..." He closed his eyes and opened his mind up, showing her all the time they'd been together and how he'd have done anything for her.

Friesia suddenly started crying, she could see now that she had been decieved. "Dain..."

Dain stood up. "If you still want me gone, I'll go..." He picked up his coat and walked out the door, he waited for a while, to see if she would let him leave or not.

"No, Dain, please...!" Friesia looked at him, still crying. "Please don't go..." She would've gotten up to stop him had she not been injured.

Dain came back in and sat on the chiar next to her bed, smiling slightly.

Friesia pinned her ears back and looked at the floor. "I'm sorry Dain," she said softly. "Something... someone... had taken away anything good I remembered..."

"It's okay." Dain smiled.

Friesia shook her head slowly. "No, it really isn't..." She was hurting more emotionally than physically... She'd almost made Dain leave.
