Ember wagged his tail at Bill.

Bill stood up. "Thanks for healing Ember miss... er..."

"Friesia," she helped.

"Anyway, yeah." Bill felt kind of awkward, those two already knew each other really well...

Ember smiled at Bill. He was happy they could get along.

Bill ran a hand through his hair. "So yeah... I better get going."

Friesia looked confused. Why was he leaving?

Ember nodded and padded to Bill's side, ready to go.

Bill shook his head. "You're staying with your friend. That's what you wanted, right?"

Ember pinned his ears back and just shuffled closer to Bill.

Bill was confused. "But I thought...?"

Friesia shook her head. "We were just catching up. He's still living with you, although you might have to deal with a visit from me from time to time." She smiled.

Ember looked up at Bill. "You still want me....right?" Ember had lost too many homes, to know Bill didn't want him anymore would hurt him beyond healing...
