Dain was out on the floor...

Ember whimpered slightly...

Friesia sighed and laid Dain on the couch.

Bill gave Ember a sympathetic look. "Come on, we better get going."

Ember whimpered slightly. He could hardly stand, forget walk...

"We'll find a way to get there." Bill would turn into dragon form and carry Ember, but humans didn't even know dragons existed...

"What about the truck?" Ember asked.

"The truck belonged to the pound, I can't use it if I don't work there anymore." Bill sighed.

Ember whimpered slightly...

Bill suddenly had an idea. "I'll be right back. Meet me out on the front porch." He went out to the shed and found a wheelbarrow. Maybe this will work...

Ember whimpered and dragged himself along the floor. He was out of breath by the time he got to the hall way. He stopped to take a break before heading to the front porch...
