Ember padded upstairs and flopped on Bill's bed happily.

Bill was walking home with the dog food. He looked down an alley, feeling like there was something watching him... Suddenly, a large black shape pulled him into the alley and attacked him!

Friesia sat in her favorite window seat, staring at the cafe across the street. Heh, memories...

Ember sighed, Bill should've been home by now...he got off the bed and went through the dog flap at the back of the house, he padded dow the street, following Bill's sent.

The attacker disappeared, taking the unconscious Bill with him.

Friesia finished her cherry Danish and gazed out the window, not quite ready to leave.

Ember didn't find Bill anywhere...maybe he's gone home?...Ember trotted back home to find Bill was still missing. The worst thought ran through Ember's mind. "He's gone...he just...left..." Being abandoned was nothing new to Ember, but it still hurt...Ember wiped a tear from his face and padded back upto Bill's room, curling up on the bed."He left me..."

Friesia thought she saw Ember... He seemed to be looking for something. She followed him home, wondering what he was upset about. She knocked on the door. Usually I wouldn't... but he's usually not alone either...

Ember padded down to the front door and put his ear against it. "Who's there?"

"It's me, Friesia," she said. "I wanted to know if you were okay."

Ember nudged the door open and looked up at her.

Friesia bit her lip. She was still upset about Ember leaving her, but now was not the time to talk about it. "You missing something? I saw you looking around..."
