Dain leaned back to be more comfortable. He too drifted off to sleep.

Ember woke up the next morning and yawned tiredly.

Bill was already awake when Ember woke up. "So. You got hungry last night."

Friesia woke up, still leaning on Dain. Oops... Guess I must've drifted off.

Ember lowered his ears and looked at him.

Dain was still asleep quietly.

Friesia didn't move, partially because she didn't want to wake Dain, but also because she wanted to sit with him for a bit longer.

Bill sighed. "It's alright Flame, I'm not mad... You just can't do that sort of thing. I don't earn enough money to give you an entire bag of food every day..."

Ember lowered his head, sad and ashamed of himself...

Dain woke up a few moments later and yawned slightly.

"It's alright." Bill walked over to Ember and gave him a couple pats on the head. "I just have to go buy some more food for you."

Friesia smiled a bit when Dain woke up. "Hello," she said quietly.

"morning." Dain smiled.

Ember licked his hand lightly.

"Want some coffee?" Friesia asked, getting up and stretching.

Bill chuckled a bit and pet Ember.

"yeah thanks..." Dain streatched and yawned again.

Ember yipped and wagged his tail, he was ready for his breakfast.

Bill shook his head. "Sorry Flame, but I don't have any food for you!" He went out to the truck, he had finished his breakfast before Ember woke up.

Friesia went into the kitchen and made some coffee, and also made a small something for herself to eat, she knew she couldn't starve herself...
