Ember sniffed around and did his buisness before coming back and flopping on the ground next to Bill.

Bill sat with Ember, petting him and talking to him.

Friesia twitched her ears. Great, now I'm seeing things... On a bench a ways away, there was a large black ball of fur.

Ember closed his eyes and happily let Bill pet him.

Dain hadn't noticed the black flabby dog yet...

As they drew nearer to the bench, Friesia could tell that the furball really was Ember. She stopped walking and just stared.

Bill didn't notice Friesia or Dain since they still had a bit of distance between them. He happily rubbed Ember's ears, not having a care in the world.

"Friesia?" Dain looked down at her.

Ember put his head on Bill's lap and wagged his tail.

Friesia looked up at Dain. 'Ember,' she mouthed, unable to speak.

Bill smiled down at Ember. "You're a good boy, Flame."

Dain tried to lead her away quickly, knowing it would be a bad idea to carry on...

Ember wagged his tail and yawned.

Friesia, ears pinned back against her head, let Dain lead her away. Her vision blurred as tears filled her eyes, but she fought them back. She was just going to have to deal with it...

Bill stood up. "Alright, I reckon it's time to get goin'." He walked Ember home.

DAin got her home and put his cloths away...

Ember was out of breath by the time they got home, he flopped on his bed and snuggled down quietly.

Bill gave Ember a couple pats on the head before sitting in his chair to read the news.

Friesia sat on the couch, silently staring very hard at something on the floor, thinking hard.
