Ember was more than happy with his new life, though he did miss his old friend, he loved living with Bill.

Bill finished his breakfast and put his plate in the sink. "Well, Flame, ready to go to work?"

Friesia continued her studies, she had plenty of time to work without Ember, but she still missed him greatly... She was happy that he had a new home that he loved, but it also upset her because it meant he really had hated living with her...

Christopher blinked his eyes groggily. Realizing his back was warmer than it should have been, he turned his head to see the kittens sleeping on him. Laughing softly, he got as comfortable as he could and let them stay there.

Ember barked happily and wagged his tail.

"Welp, let's go then." Bill walked outside and held the door open for Ember.

Christopher looked around the room without moving his head. "Mornin' Cat," he said quietly.

Friesia sighed and stopped her work. She used her locating spell yet again, wanting to see how Ember was doing. Each time it pained her to see how happy he was without her, but she was a bit comforted by the fact that his new owner treated him well.

Ember struggled to squeeze through the door, but he made it. He looked up at Bill then made his way to the truck.

"morning." Cat smiled and jumped to sit infront of him.

Bill helped Ember into the front seat and ruffled his head fur. "Good boy, Flame."

Christopher smiled back at Cat. "I wear myself out playing with these guys, and this is how they thank me?"

Friesia looked down as the image of Bill petting Ember faded away. "At least he's cared for..." she said softly.

Ember took a deep breath, this was a tight fit...but oh well...

Cat smirked at him and flicked her tail around.

Bill gave Ember a sympathetic look and began to drive, luckily the pound was close by...

Christopher grinned and shook his head. "Oh well."

Friesia began studying again, her magical abilities had significantly improved, but it didn't really matter to her anymore.

Ember watched the world go by....

Cat giggled slightly at Christopher.

Bill parked in his spot and let Ember out. "Maybe we should start puttin' you in the back..."

Christopher gave Cat an 'oh really?' look. "Oh, so that's funny? I'd like to see a bunch of kittens sleep on you." He laughed a bit.

Friesia practiced her spells half-heartedly, the only reason she even bothered was to have something to do.
