Ember laid happily by his feet, he was just about to drift off back to sleep when his stomach growled loudly...

Cat laughed. "Your telling me!"

Bill looked down at Ember, his eyebrows raised in surprise. "Are you kidding me, Flame?! I just fed you not too long ago!"

Christopher laughed a bit. He picked Cat up and held her, stroking her softly.

Ember lowered his head between his paws. He really didn't wanna lose this home...

Cat purred and rubbed up against him.

Bill chuckled. "Guess that's why you're such a big guy. Alright, I'll go to the store and get some dog food."

Christopher smiled and kept petting Cat.

Ember wagged his tail happily.

Cat purred at him.

"Come on Flame, you can come with me." Bill puthis newspaper on a side table and stood up.

"Oh, so you like that, my pretty kitty?" Christopher grinned and continued stroking Cat.

Ember stood up and wagged his tail happily.

Cat purred happily and rubbed against Christopher.

Bill went outside and opened the back doors of the truck. "I'd let you sit up front, but you're a bit too big," he said.

"Apparently you like being called a pretty kitty too~" Christopher laughed a bit and pet Cat.

Ember struggled up into the back of the truck, but he made it after a while...

"WHAT!?!" Cat turned bright red.

Bill looked at Ember thoughtfully. "I know, I'll get one of those ramp things for the back of the truck." He smiled at Ember. Bill didn't seem to care that Ember so 'fluffy.'

Christopher laughed harder. "Hey, you're the one who purred, not me."
