"well...we could go out tonight, just you and me?" Dain looked ather.

"S-sure...!" Friesia said, surprised by the unexpected question. Her green eyes sparkled. "Yeah, th-that'd be great."

"great, I'll come by to pick you up at seven, I got things to do now...." Dain kissed her one last time and disapeared.

Friesia smiled when he left. She turned to Ember. "You want Christopher to stay with you? You two can have a guys night... or whatever it is guys do in their free time." She shrugged.

Ember shrugged slightly.

"Well, I'm not leaving you here alone. It's not safe. What if Jesu came...?" Friesia stroked his head fur. I'd leave you alone if I knew you were capable of fighting back... but you're not...

Ember made a half grunt, half whimper sound....

Friesia looked at Ember. "I'll be back in a moment, okay?" She smiled at him and disappeared.

Christopher was still holding the sleeping kittens in his lap when Friesia arrived. "Shh, Fry, everyone's asleep except me," he whispered.

Friesia looked at him. "Ember needs someone to stay with him while I'm out... Just be in my living room a bit before seven," she said quietly, and returned home.

Christopher sighed. "Guess I'll have to be there..."

Cat opened one eye and listened to them both.

"You're awake," Christopher said quietly to Cat.
