Friesia smiled back up at Dain.

Christopher stopped messing with Ember and looked over at the two of them. "Okay lovebirds, why don't we go somewhere else?"

Denny looked in through the window. "Yup, I knew it. Da cat failed."

Benny grinned. "Hoo boy, she gonna be in big trouble this time, ain't she Denny?"

Dain finnished his coffee. "Let's trash your place for once!" He smirked.

Christopher shook his head quickly. "Are you kidding me? Ember'll break the floorboards, he's so big! I'd rather not."

Friesia rolled her eyes. "Alright, let's go to my castle, at least the floor's magically supported."

Denny whirled around and headed toward Jesu's hideout. "Come on Benny, we got some news for da boss."

Benny followed his brother like a loyal puppy.

Dain laughed while Ember just whimpered.

Friesia and Christopher teleported to Friesia's place, taking Ember with them. "See you in a moment!" Friesia said right before they disappeared.

Jesu appeared in Christopher's mansion. He silently looked around for the cat, his narrow eyes glowing with fury.

Dain walked to her place, it was much nicer than the fast rout...he knocked on the door and waited to be let in.

The cat was behind the sofa in her corner, feeding her kittens.

Friesia opened the door and welcomed him inside. She looked tired. "Sorry I couldn't join you, it took the both of us to get Ember here..."

Christopher was still petting Ember, it was like the only thing he really felt comfortable doing around Dain.

Jesu, in lion form, crept up behind the cat. "You failed to carry out my orders," he said menacingly.

"I heard that!" Ember huffed.

"I'm sorry, I tried..." She cried, protecting her kittens.

"It's true..." Friesia looked at him. "I'm sorry, but it is."

Christopher ruffled Ember's head fur. "Meh, don't let her get to ya."

Jesu glared and swiped at the cat, bowling her over. "Trying isn't good enough! Dain lives because of you failure!" He roared.
