Before the Dawn (INVITE ONLY)

Two men came up behind the tree. They looked at each other. "Denny, he's not here no more!" The first said to the second. "What're we gonna do now?"
"Shuddup Benny, I'm thinkin'." Denny looked at the sleeping couple. "Well, da boss said this needed to be gone when we came back, so why not just dump it on these two?" He held up a small container of strong sleeping powder. "These two are more of a threat anyway."
Benny looked excited. "Yes! Yes! Let's do it!"
Denny dumped the Ember-sized portion onto Dain and Friesia. He looked at his work and was satisfied. "These two won't be waking up anytime soon..." He chuckled maliciously, and the two went on their way.

Ember jumped infront of the two men and growled at them.

"Fish sticks Benny, I thought you said he was gone!" Denny grabbed Benny by the arm and the two bolted.

Christopher sighed and looked up from his newspaper. "Guess I better go tell Fry Jesu's free."

Ember ran to Dain and Friesia and nudged them to wake up

Friesia muttered a bit but didn't move, she was still asleep.

Ember pawed at her despratly, he whimpered loudly.

Friesia still didn't wake up...

Christopher appeared outside Friesia's house, only to find no one home. He followed Ember's heavy footsteps though, and soon found them. "What's wring with you?" he asked Ember, to him it just looked like they were sleeping peacefully.

Ember carried on pawing at her, she wouldn't wake up.

Christopher swatted his paw away. "Dude, they're sleeping. Leave 'em alone. If there's something you need, I can help."

Ember walked away from them and laid under a bush, his back turned to them.
