Bill ran outside alongside Starling. "Ember!" He took the little girl away from his dog and carried her inside. He tended to her arm, worried about her. "It's okay, little one..." He looked at Starling's sister sadly. "I'm so sorry... This is my fault, I should've been watching him..."
