Dawn's wide, anxious eyes looked around until they found her Alpha. She let out a breath of relief. "Flint!" She dropped back down to her four paws and walked over to him. Her face gave away how scared and worried she was. Then her ears pricked when she heard a distant, but clear response to her howl. Her eyes flew open and turned to Flint, barking in excitement, "It's Shay! He's alive!" He probably had no idea what she was talking about, but Dawn didn't care. She turned around and shot through the trees towards where the call had come from. She knew she was heading north. Why'd he come so far?! She ran along until she smelled it. Shay's familiar scent... but mixed with blood and sickness. She didn't stop running across the snow-covered grasses until she spotted a figure up ahead. Once she was close enough, she let out a loud, joyful bark, as if called him to Shay. "Shay! Shay! You're alive!" She bumped into her mate when they finally rejoined and she covered his face with affectionate licks. "Oh I was so worried," she growled fiercely as she nuzzled him. "What on earth are you doing here? Oh Shay, you silly wolf." She pulled away, instantly spotting his wound. Her eyes widened in shock and she licked it gently, trying to clean it. "What happened?" she asked urgently.

{Wow, I missed a few pages. Forgive me if my posts are, rather bad, I am sort of sleepy and sick...}

Rukou watched the pack dig into the deer, his mouth salivating as he did so. Rukou growled to himself, turning his head away as he stood up. The loner snarled, jumping up onto some rocks that overlooked the pack's innermost territory. He decided to lie down in the shade of a conifer, closing his eyes and trying to lose the sweet smell of meat that wafted into his nose.

Rikka's ears perked foreward, hearing Splash call the pack to eat. She turned on her heels quickly, bounding back as fast as she could. The hunter burst through the bushes, skidding to a halt infront of the doe. Rikka blinked, lowering her head ever to slightly to the alpha as she approached to take her fill. Finally...this nonsense can be over and we can finally enjoy this... she thought, licking her lips happily.

Candillion watched silently, watching the other packmembers anilate the kill. He blinked, remained quiet, and stayed put. It was odd, he prefered to be one of the last ones to eat, he didnt know why, he just prefered it... Ether tugged playfully at Can's tail, looking up at him with expectant eyes. The pup's stomach growled, and Candillion nodded. "Go ahead." he said, nuzzling her lovingly and pushing her away with his nose. Ether yipped, bounding off. She growled as she passed Brazen's den, but was too happy to see meat. Ether stood back, watching the adults and waiting for her turn.

Shay stared at Dawn, unable to speak. He was so happy right now that his mate had found him. "I... I had went for a walk in the forest, and then a pack... a pack invaded our territory, and... and they got me... thy injured me, and I'm in... I'm in pain," he told her quietly, not wanting anybody else to here. "I need to get back to the pack," he told her, glancing from the direction that Dawn had came from. "I need to see them, and tell Levon, my relative... I'm okay... she'll be worried," he said to Dawn with a nod, trying to smile at the Beta Female.

Dawn just stared at Shay, feeling tears build up at his quiet voice, saying all those horrible things. She just licked his face and said, "Alright, you stay put. I'll inform the alphas you're ok. Levon will know, she'll hear me." Dawn flicked her tail and turned around. A few rabbit-lengths away, a big boulder jutted out from the ground and stuck up into the air. She hopped on, and padded to the edge. She stood tall against the horizon light and raised her head gracefully. Then the beautiful Beta-Female opened her jaws and let out a long howl, more higher-pitched and lighter than the one she'd used to find Shay; kind of happy in a way. It echoed along the snowy woods, and probably reached the camp. It meant, Don't worry, I found him. Splash and Levon would understand what she meant.

Splash-Alpha-Female

Splash had closed her eyes and was close to drifting off to sleep when an almost-cheerful howl reached her ears. The Alphess rose her head and listened, immediately recognizing it to be Dawn. She smiled. Good. She must have found him. She turned her gaze back to the feasting wolves. The deer had been reduced to shreds with very little meat left. Meek wouldn't be able to eat even if she weren't in trouble. There will be nothing left. After Splash watched her pack feed for a moment, she looked around for Flint, wondering where he'd run off to. It wasn't like him to skip a meal like that. She sighed as she debated on whether to look for him or let him have his space. Deciding on the latter of the two, the she-wolf laid her head back on her white paws and blinked her golden eyes once before slipping into unconsciousness.

Accalia-Hunter-Female

Ace was one of the wolves still going at the meal. She'd gone through too much to get the thing so she wasn't going to stop eating it until she was completely full, which wouldn't take much longer. Little was left of the doe. It was mainly bones now with only scraps attached. The Huntress ran her canines across on of the blood-stained bones to scrape off as much of the meat as she could before gulping it down and taking the bone in her jaws. She bit down hard until it cracked in two and she could get to the marrow inside. She growled in satisfaction once she did so and she took a step away from the kill with the bone still between her teeth. Accalia's belly was sated now and it no longer gnawed at her with it's empty hunger.

Comet-Loner-Male

The large, black male lay just inside the entrance of his little den. He watched as the snow storm calmed and the flakes fell only lightly in front of him. He sighed and laid his head on his paws. True, Comet had always driven others away whenever they did appear but that didn't mean he liked being alone like this. He just figured it was better to be solitary than to let someone have his trust. The last wolf he'd put his trust in had been his father. But that was before.. Comet pulled back his ears and growled. Let's not think of that now.. The loner picked himself up and padded to the back of the den as far away from the harsh outside elements as he could get and curled up there. He tucked himself up in a tight ball and pulled his long, fluffy tail around him until it rested a whisker in front of his muzzle. He closed his deep, golden eyes and made an attempt to get some more rest before the sun rose above the horizon and he left his den for the last time to find a new one as he always did after staying in one place for a few weeks. That was how life was for the lone wolf. Always on the move and never staying in one place for too long.

Fenris-Defender-Male

Fenris stopped walking yet again at the sound of the Beta Female's howl. He could hear their voices now. Sounds like Dawn found him before I did. He continued walking towards them with his paws leaving light tracks in the soft snow behind him. He forced some leafless shrubs out of his path and pushed his way through. He paused to scent the air, detecting he was but a couple deer leaps or so away from them. The defender gave a sharp bark to alert them of his presence. Fenris could tell by the scent that Shay was hurt and it definitely isn't a good idea to startle a hurt wolf and his mate. With his ears slightly lowered to acknowledge their amount of authority over them, he trotted through the trees to where the two were. He nodded to them in greeting before speaking, "May I ask what heppened or is that something I shouldn't know before the Alphas?" Fenris was speaking to both of them but was looking mainly as Shay's injuries. "You look pretty banged up. Do you need any extra help getting back?"
