I smile a bit "I was just thinking! Need a lift?" I reach down my hand. "Just boost yourself up using the ledge and grab my hand." I chuckle softly as I wait to pull her up.

She smiles at him Clearing your mind is always a good thing. she smiles warmly up at him as she places her foot onto the ledge and reaches out with her hand grabbing his Don't drop me Jace. she looked up at him her hand clenching his.

Jace
I smile and pull her up, grabbing her other hand and helping her all the way on to the slanted roof. "I wouldn't drop you Pay." I say as I sit back again.

{ Payton }

Giggling softly she pulls herself with his help up onto the roof of his house. Looking at him she grins You better not. she grins looking past him up at the sky Wow, do you come out her often? her eyes flick back to him a smile still on her face. She didn't want to bring up what happened earlier she just wanted to be happy like they always are and were.

Jace
I shake my head and lay down, my head on my arms. "Not often, just when I need to think and it's dark." I tell her. Normally I would go to the top of the light house to think, literally, the TOP of the light house. I would climb the little latter and sit on top of the thing holding the light. But at night I couldn't do that, it was to dangerous-even during the day.

{ Payton }

She smiles softly letting out a small sigh as she lays down laying her head on his chest. A smile still on her face Well you know the view really isn't that bad from up here and it is really ... peaceful. her blue eyes scan the sky softly as she looks side to side looking over the sky. She really didn't know where Jace went to think or clear his mind but she guessed this was not it. But she wouldn't ask. You know, about early today. I am sorry. she looks back at him for a second but at the angle it made her head hurt and made her a little dizzy so instead she turned away and decided just to listen.

Jace
I hug her gently when she lays down next to me and lays her head on my chest. I shake my head a bit "Don't worry about it Pay." I tell her then kiss the top of her head without realizing it at first. When I do I let her go "Uh... Sorry..." I sit up and just lean back on my hands now, not looking at Payton but at the sky.

She looks up at him softly looking down again as she listens to him talk I am just glad you are not mad at me. she smiles again but as she feels his lips touch the top of her head and kiss it softly her cheek light up in a blush that makes her whole body heat up. She smiles and looks up at him about to speak but watches him pull away and sit up staring out into the sky JJ It's okay. she smiles warmly and kisses his cheek I don't mind. she smiles and looks down from the house Well I better go, before my mom wakes up and sees I am gone. she grins and slides off the roof of the house. Looking up at him she waves at him softly Meet me tomorrow at our spot! she smiles before she takes off running down the street, heading home.

I watch her as she jumps off the roof and I chuckle a bit. I was lucky to have a friend like Payton "See you tomorrow!" I yell but as she runs I remember something "Hey don't we have school tomorrow?" I shout to her.

Looking back she looks at Jace and shrugs cuffing her lips to make her voice echo What will one day matter? she giggles softly and waves to him as she runs down the street finally getting to her house. Making sure her mother was still asleep she slips in and makes her way to her room. She was glad she had finally made friends with Jace and they were so close to one another. She couldn't ask for a better friend.
