Arianna looked up at Jay. "Colin sent the guards after me. He's so mad at what I did. I just wanted to prove he didn't own me." Jay picked her up and took her to her room. She locked the door as Jay left. He left to go see Colin. "Colin?" He knocked on the door of Colin's room.

I watched him with brave eyes.I bent down and kissed him.

I opened my door."What!?" I shouted at the vampire.

Lucas kissed her back gently. He broke the kiss. "Do you like me?"

Jay looked at Colin. He noticed the mark on his neck. "Woah...what did my sister do this time?"

"Yes." I sunk my fangs into his neck but didn't take anything.I pushed him away from me and as he hit the ground I walked away.
Colin
I growled and sat on my bed."I should've killed her.....but I didn't."

Lucas fell to the ground. "Where are you going?" he asked disoriented.


Jay sat down next to Colin. "Trust me she grew up not like other girls. She's very innocent but independent. She is very distrusting of many people. I'm one of the only people she trust but only because I'm her brother and I've known her a long time. She is very stubborn and she doesn't like when people try to change her. Give her a break this is her first time being owned or having someone telling her what to do. We grew up with no parents so we did whatever we had to survive. After I was captured I went to find her. She was dying if I wouldn't have deserted who owned my then she would have never been caught but she would have died without me" His voice broke as he spoke about finding her.

I let tears streak down my cheeks.I looked back at Lucas "leaving." I walked outside sadly."I'm sorry."

Jay just looked at him. "Just give her time she might turn around and see the good in humans not vampires.Humans have to find a difference and exploit it; its in your nature." He sighed. "You really all are the same"

I turned now angry."Because i'm not that kind of person! I'm not cruel and I wouldn't hurt anyone as long as they didn't threaten me or the ones I cared about!" I shouted at him.
Colin
I nodded sadly "yes we do.Now please.Leave."

"I already hurt and threatened you! Why are you holding back?" Lucas looked straight into her eyes, unintentionally seeing a vision of her sister killed violently.

Jay got up. "Don't expect her to leave her room for a couple of days..." He trailed off as he walked into Arianna's room. She was shaking in her sleep. Jay felt her forehead afraid she was sick. He whispered to her as he held her to warm her up, "What's wrong with you Ari?" Arianna cuddled up to him and shook her head. She thought to him,' I think I'm dying Jay. Promise me you won't tell anyone under any circumstance.' Jay nodded and pinky promised with Arianna.
