Ash bit her lip, unsure how to get him to believe her. She throught desperately before she remembered that Jake was going to come back the next day. "Wait, Jake said that he'd return tommorrow for my answer, w-what if you hid in here while he returns...?" she offered. "I won't go near you and you can get your answer...!" she said hopefully. "Please, you have to believe me...! I.... I don't want to kill anymore, I never have...." she said, lowerin her gaze, being completely honest.

Richard shook his head hesitantly, trying to make up his mind about her honesty. Her eyes seemed to tell the truth. It was so difficult to decipher his thoughts. Rick sighed, he supposed it wouldn't hurt. Jake had been acting suspicious lately, and if she turned out to be lying, he would simply explain to Jakob the situation."Fine." He scanned the room, looking for a good hiding place, but found none suitable enough for him to crouch in.

Ash pointed to the rafters above the door. "You can hang from up there..." she suggested quietly, sitting down against the wall. She rested her head on her knees before she got some rest, waking only when the door opened. She rubbed her eyes and looked up at the person in the doorway. "It's you..." she muttered, looking at Jake with a soft scowl. "What do you want...?"

Richard sighed, complying with great regret to this plan. But did it anyway. He jumped, catching the edge of the rafter and climbing up. Rick tried to make himself as comfortable as possible, curling up in a ball, he was able to hide himself in the shadows, and still have a good view of the room. He slept for about a couple hours before someone entered the room. It was Jake. What was he doing here? Richard watched with intent eyes as Jake said,"You know why I'm here. So. What's your decision?"

Ash stood up and gave a small smirk, the tips of her elongated fangs showing. "I'm sorry, our deal must've slipped my mind, will you tell me what it is again...~?" she said innocently, batting her eyelashes at him in a slightly mocking manor. She leaned against the wall, even so much as twirling a lock of hair around her finger as she stared at Jake with a bemused smirk on her pale lips, a small giggle escaping her lips at the thought of how mad he'd be when he saw she wasnt at all afraid of him, nor respected him in the least.

Jake seemed irritated at her unusual behavior, he growled, striking her across the face for her insolence."You know full well. Do not play stupid with me! Will you kill him or not?" He snapped impatiently, short on time here. The pack would soon be voting for a new leader, Richard didn't even know that he was the heir. Jake had been waiting for the position longer then that brat, he deserved it.
Richard watched with wide eyes as this played out, could the vampire actually be right? But why would Jake want to kill him?

Ash stumbled into the wall, but smirked still. "Kill who...?" she asked innocently. "Your going to be more specific on who you want me to kill." she purred lowly and stood up, wiping a bit of blood from her lip. She hadn't eaten anything for almost a week and it took almost all her strength to not collapse, still not having had her full fill before she was taken to the cellar of 'fun'.

Jake snarled,"Richard, of course. Who else is the bane of my existence?" he muttered, ready to smack this girl again for her uselessness. After she killed his cousin, Jake would have the blood-sucker anyway, seeing no reason to let her free at this point.
Richard tried to stay as silent as possible, but made the mistake of gasping at that last part. So it was all true. Celia had been right after all, and he hadn't even given her a chance. Jake turned his head suspiciously, having heard something,"A spy!" he exclaimed, glaring at Ash,"You vermin! I knew you were not to be trusted." At that point, Rick had already made up his mind, to duel Jake. He leaped from his hiding place, standing in front of Jakob with cold eyes."You wish to kill me? Even after everything we've been through?"
Jake smiled innocently, circling his young cousin, knowing full well this was a death match,"Guilty is charged." Rick nodded to Ash,"Leave now..."

Ash readied herself to be struck again, closing her eyes and turning her head slightly. She blinked and turned her head to the spot where Richard was, going to move infront of Richad if needed. She gasped softly when he jumped out. "I...I'm not leaving you to fight on your own..." she said weakly and moved a step closer. "You believed in me... Now I have to repay you, even if I die..."

Richard growled at her,"Go! You are a fool to stay! I did not request your help, and still have no interest in your safety. You were only a decoy, are you too naive to see the truth which lies in front of your eyes?" Rick was quite persuasive, deciding he needed a way to get her to safety. He knew she wouldn't listen if he begged her, so he decided to use the 'bad cop' act. Richard then turned toward Jakob with a nasty look of contempt."To the death, then? No casualties for a family friend? How rude.." Jake smiled cruelly, winking at Ash."Ah, yes, she was just a pond in this complicated game of chess, nothing important. She can just leave you now, to the fateful doom you deserve."
