Quein looked around, his gaze as sharp as a hawk's. They were far off the ground, and Dalier's wings were beating steadily. We should arrive in a couple of hours. Quein told Dalier. I know. Dalier said, patient because he knew his rider was slightly stressed out, and was tired after the three day journey.

Bryn let out a huff of air. Her wings were tired. Istalri slumped forward in the saddle, asleep. She couldn't stay awake. She had stayed up for two days straight,on edge. Willow sat behind her. Aqua was flying next to Bryn. Rysan flew slightly above Quein and Dalier. Callim was in a bad mood, cursing in elvish. Layla was sharing his saddle, while Azalea was put in a saddle bag on the side.

Layla poked Callim. "I don't know elvish, but the way you say that, it doesn't seem very nice." she said, in a motherly tone. ((Gtg to church!! ))

Callim chuckled slightly. "No, it's not." He sighed. "I just don't want to go back."

"Then why are you?" Layla asked simply.

Aqua had been the drag on the group. Since she was new to flying, they had to keep stopping to let her rest. But every time, her stamina and endurance grew. Making it 1 and a half days since she last stopped. She was shattered. She couldn't imagine what carrying Willow must be like. She wasn't going to stop though because she was determined to make the final push. Try and let Willow ride her.

Willow groaned and sat up. She had slept half the day. She looked over at Aqua who didn't seem tired at all. Willow frowned then shrugged. "How long do we have left?" Willow grumbled to anyone, wiping the sleep from her eyes. Although she had slept comfortably, the scales of Bryn had rubbed a hole in her knees, leaving a gaping raw red welt. She ignored it for making a big scene would slow down everyone.
She leaned forward to pat Bryn. "You are doing great, you know." She comforted. Trying to boost her ego, to give her the little umph she needed until they reached ellesmera. "I think you are one of the strongest dragons I know. Aqua couldn't have done it."

Callim frowned. "Because, I have no choice." He sighed quietly, sounding dejected. "And, if I ran away again, Quein would just hunt me down."

Bryn made a happy noise. Thank you, little one, she thought happily. But, I am just older. Bryn turned her large head and looked at Aqua. You can rest on my tail, she offered, sounding concerned for the younger dragon. She vividly remembered what it was like when she first started flying.

Istalri looked at Willow. "I think a day. Maybe a little more, a little less."

Laula grined wolfishly. "Well," she said, "That will be the fun part!" Her tone made it obvious that such a thing should be obvious, and he should know that.
