The Riders of Alagaësia (1x1 rp w/ .:Cumulus:.//AZURE)

Many uncounted years after Eragon and Saphira have passed into the Void, after successfully reestablishing the Riders. After uncounted years, Eragon and Sapphire return to Alagaësia, Eragon to marry Arya, and Sapphire marring Firen. The riders have protected the peace of Alagaësia for uncounted generations of riders.

The the most dreaded thing happens. Galbatorix has returned. And he seeks revenge. When he killed himself, by saying "waíse néiat" or "be not" he committed suicide by casting the spell that literally caused himself to stop existing, converting every atom of his body into pure energy and creating a massive blast which have killed all others present if Eragon had not shielded them in time. However, there was one thing that no body knows about the waíse néiat spell. The spell caster's soul is never able to enter the void, but is always roaming the earth as a spirit, only one choice left to them, which can either break them...or save them.

This is what happened to Galbatorix. His soul wandered Alagaësia all that time, waiting for the right moment. Finally, he found just the time.

A young king sat on the throne. He was entitled, a snob, and power hungry. Eragon had long passed away, as had Saphira, and the Riders had grown lazy once again. Galbatorix made plans, and snooped around while he could.

Finally, when the king was in his early 20's Galbatorix made his move. In the dead of night, he slipped into the king's mind, easily conquering it. When he had woken up in the morning he wasted no time. Though the king had been an entitled snob, and power hungry, he wasn't cruel and he had good advisers that took good enough care of the kingdom while he played his silly power games. Galbatorix changed all that. He turned the kingdom into a wreck, not caring, because the gnaw of hunger, nor the burning of thirst, was never to be felt by him. The first thing he did, was eradicate the dragons....or so he thought.

The kingdom was in worse disarray than the first time. No, ten times worst. And Galbatorix could not die.

Now, thousands of years after endless rebellions and failing rebellions, a new hope has been born. Maybe, just maybe, then Alagaësia will return to the way it was before it became Galgasia. Become a country of peace, of prosperity, of kindness, and of Dragon Riders...

]Personality: Istalri is quite shy. She usually keeps to herself. She spends most of her time, when not working, outdoors or reading. She hates it when people pick on her, and she has a bit of a temper when she gets angry. She has an amazing singing voice, but never sings in front of other people. You are lucky if you can get words out of Istalri. She never really talks to anyone, but when she does talk, it's usually to say something really smart. Istalri is always depressed and silent. She will help anyone who needs help, and she will take nothing in return
Fears: Drowning.
Dreams: Wants to be accepted as what she is. WHO she is.
Powers: Istalri can control the elements, but using more than one for a certain amount of time will draon her energy, just as when she uses magic.
History: Istalri used to live with her mother's brother, her uncle Trentin. She was orphaned at a young age. Wild dragons attacked her mother and father, Prince Illios of Elvyre and Katareen of Aeveid. They were killed along with her older brother, Irin. Her Uncle wass quite mean, and he beat her. He forced her to work in his shop as a maid. He hated her. One day, he attacked her. Istalri hit him in the head with a frying pan, knocking him out, and ran away. She found Bryn's egg and Bryn hatched for her.

Personality: Bryn is very tempermental. She is always finding ways to make everything better.
History: Bryn swooped in on Istalri when she was in the field, singing. Bryn had always watched Istalri from a distance, but never made her presence known. She had realized that Istalri was ready to know of her. When she appeared to Istalri, Istalri screamed, then fated. After she woke up, she accepted Bryn. They went for their first flight several minutes later. Bryn has been Istalri's dragon for three months now.

Personality: Layla's most prominent trait is her curiosity; she is always asking questions, always seeking to learn more. It didn't seem to matter what it was, she always wanted to learn about anything. Layla had a strong sense of justice and equality, despising slavery and the tyrannical reign of Galbatorix. She will argue with anyone on this moral principle. Layla is a quick learner, becoming literate and a skilled swordsman in a very short period of time. However, she is often hasty, lightheaded, and impulsive. She was also known to lose her temper, and let her frustration get the better of her. Layla is stubborn and willful about her personal opinions, even when things look hopeless and everyone disagreed with her. When ever Layla is in a bad mood, she is a misery to be around; she then has horrible sarcasm, and is generally miserable to be around then.  Layla is determined, steadfast, and strong-willed. Once she sets herseld upon a course she would see it through till the end, and would allow nothing to stop her. Often, Layla cares more for others than she does for herself. She is very loyal to her friendss. She despises unfairness. Also, Layla had a habit of finding trouble.
Fears: Being weak
Dreams: To end Galbatorix, who she hates passionately   
Powers: Can easily change her shape at will, and can comunicate easily with all animals. The first time she shifted, she could only keep the cat form for a couple of minutes, and when she changed back, she was incredibly sore; aparently her bones didn't like it. However, she has practiced, and now has more endurance, though she still has her limits, at which point she will change back. She is always a little sore, more when she holds the form for long periods of time. Once she is taught, she will also be able to do magic, but that hasn't happened yet.
History: When Layla was a young baby, before her parents were killed, she was given to a kindly businessman. When she was abandoned, the trader was a fairly poor, and minor one. Now though, he is the biggest trader in Alagaësia. He loves her dearly, and will do anything for her. However, this has not caused Becca to get a "big head" and she is not vain or prideful or any other bad rich people stuff.

Personality: Azalea is very shy and sometimes she fears that this might get in the way. It is true that her shyness causes her some trouble, especially when she has to speak in front of many people, or when she meets new people. But Azalea is quite able to forget about her shyness when she is in a comfortable environment, at which point she is calm and easy to talk to. In spite of her shyness, Becca is quite a capable fighter, and would die for her true friends. Azalea couldn't imagine a life outside the city where she was born; she loves markets and all other things going on in such a big city. Azalea has also alot sympathy for the poor citizens and slaves in the city. She always sees things in a matter-of-fact way and does only very rarely get too anxious or excited.  This helps her to keep a cool head and see things more clearly. Her cool head also helps to balance other people out, who get more easily excited over small things and are thus unable to keep a cool head; although she is known to sometimes be reckless. Azalea, for some reason, has a particular liking for apple fritters.  Actually, she seems to like apples in general, with Vivianos as her favorites.
History: One day, when Layla was walking the streets of the poorer parts of town, like usual, and giving away bread, an orange glimmer caught her eye. She turned to look at it, and confirmed what she though she had seen. There was something beautiful and shinny in the muck of the streets. She reached down and picked it up, shaking off the muck, it not bothering her. Although Layla did think about the fact that her now dirty clothes would probrobly annoy "Father" (he never told her). She stuck what apeared to be a large orange opal into her pocket for later inspection. A few day's after she brought it home (a large mansion in the nicest part of town) Azalea was born. Layla told "Father" and he was very accepting and loving to Azalea, just as he had been to Becca.

Personality: She is a bubbly easy tempered human. She heard about the rumors of dragon riders, and instantly fell in love. She never expected to have one. she now loves her with all of her heart, and will do anything to save her. If anyone is rude to her, she will reply meanly, but it usually takes a lot to make her cross.
Dreams: She dreams to fight along side other dragon riders, and to fall in love with one
Powers: She can shapeshift when she is near her dragon. She is practicing it away from her though
History: She doesnt have a very interesting one. She grew up as a farmer. Working hard to hear the stories of the dragons from an old man named Eragon. she loved them a lot. Now she gets to experience them.
