XDDD That first bit made me laugh. And yeah, I'm more interested in bigger dogs. Some small dogs are quite nice, but most are all nippy... And just... Rude...))

"Yes. And they're hungry and vicious, and came here to eat us. That's what I said." Dib nodded, and finally say up fully, stretching his arms to test them. They ached a little, but otherwise they were fine. He moved his legs, testing them with the same result as his arms. That healing stuff worked fast!
Mur had dropped his leash, when he shocked her, and seemed to have forgotten it. Dib wondered if maybe he could pry off the cord around his neck.

((My mom's weird older friend made me take care of her Brussel-Griffin dog. *glares* Tiny-a** little brown and black dog that yipped at my cats. I hated it so much, I wanted to feed it to my neighbor's Seeing-Eye greyhound, but I think he wouldn't like the taste. At least i got eighty bucks out of it...))

"Uh-huh. What is the big gray one called?" She asked, pointing to the leader-dog. It was currently leaning against the fence, expertly gnawing a hole in it. Mur smiled to herself, "Inferior, give me your leash." She ordered and held out her hand.

((Yappy ones are really annoying... If I get a dog, I want something big that won't break, something friendly, loyal, fun, but something I could use as a guard-dog...)))

"I have no idea. There are hundreds of types. It's probably a mixed breed anyway." The boy shrugged, even though Mur wouldn't see it, and the frowned. In a way, he had mixed feelings about what to do. This was kinda fun, he was almost kinda tempted to hand her the leash and play along for a while... Then again, he had stuff to do. He should be running away... But the leash would catch on things if he couldn't get it off. Dib tested his collar, looking for the fastener as he thought.
"If I play along with you on this, you won't torment me right?" He picked up the end of the leash, but held it a little out of her reach.

((The best way to get one like that is to get an ex-therapy dog or Seeing-Eye dog. They're the best dogs EVER. My aunt had an ex-therapy rottweiler that was getting old, and cranky cause of their skull-problem, and the owner tossed her out on the street. My aunt took her in, and she almost got r*ped by a guy, and the dog attacked him. They had to put her down because she was "violent" and "a threat to innocents."))

Mur frowned, "Mutt, hmm? That means mix-breed?" She asked and stood up, watching it. By now its head could fit through the hole in the fence, but it still needed a lot more room, "No, I won't "torment" you." She agreed.

((Huh.
They put it to sleep for... O_'o ?? WTH....?))

"Yeah, mutt, mixed breed, same thing. We need to get going." Dib sighed, and at last, gave in. He was savoring the fact that at last he had someone to talk to and interact with, not to mention play a sort of game with. She just better not expect him to be all submissive and do whatever she wanted. He was only going along with this for a little while on his own terms.
He handed her the end of the leash. "You better not choke me, or you'll be sorry..."

((Yeah! They put the dog asleep cause she attacked a r*pist! That's the law in California; it doesn't matter why the animal attacked, it just has to be killed.))

Mur rolled her eyes and pushed an invisible button on the leash. It snapped off of his neck and she tossed it like a lasso at the gray dog. Instantly, it snapped around the dog's neck tight.

((... You know, the more I hear about California, the less I want to live there.))

The dog yowled and snarled and tried to bite off the leash, and Dib's eyes widened. Well that was rather clever of Mur. He hadn't been expecting that. Great! Now she wouldn't be dragging her around, and he could choose to follow of his own free will, much better. Plus it felt better to have the collar off. What exactly was she doing though?

((Everything else is pretty nice. Well, except for the cost of everything. They have more money in circulation than any place I've lived in.))

Mur tugged on the leash as much as she could. Even weakened, she was pretty strong, and soon the dog was yelping and trying to get free. The other dogs ran away as soon as their leader was "captured."

"Hey, inferior! Help me!" She ordered.

((Yeah, probably make a lot of money off tourists. Lots of legal problems though.))

"I do have a name you know." Dib said, not altogether mad at her for calling him that as might be expected. He hadn't told her his name yet, and wondered if he should or shouldn't. Either way, he reached up and grabbed the leash and pulled. He was a strong boy, and had healed fast.
"What are you planning to do? Get it stuck in the fence and gore it on the wire mesh?"

((Na, it's actually an inflation thing. People who get paid 11 dollars here get 24 dollars over there, but it's worth the same.))

Mur rolled her eyes, "Names are for Irkens. And no, I'm not. I want to perform tests on this creature."
