Cassandra walked down her street and headed for her first job. A waitress at a fancy restuarant. Maybe she could get something to eat there. Cassandra sighed and entered in the back door and out her apron on.
I am a closed book. I don't trust you and I don't trust me. I need a little room to breathe, you're making this hard for me, when all I need is to be set free. I need a little time to think, and if you ever will love me then all I need is a little room to breathe. I've been through and seen a lot, left at the bottom and the top. We're on borrowed time, but time isn't enough, I'm just trying to be the best I can be. When I fall down, it's just me and the ground.

Once Zevin made it acouple of blocks away from town, he realised that he hadn't eaten anything before he left. He looked at his watch and decided that breakfast was still an option. He wandered into a resturant at random. He mentally cursed himself. Why did it have to be a fancy resturant? He looked down at his clothes. At least they were sufficiently casual.

Cassandra hurried out to a table that needed a waitress. she grabbed a water glass and placed it on the table. "What can I get you to drink?" She asked pushing her bangs out of her face.

As Cassandra walked away, a smile crept onto Zevin's lips. For whatever reason, he kept running into this girl. He wasn't one that believed in fate, but obviously there was something at work here.
