"Oh, no reason." She sais casually, rolling her eyes at his sarcastic tone

Jordan narrowed his eyes slightly at her, but he shrugged it off, not responding. "Speaking of Jamie, I'll be right back.", he said, heading to the door. He glanced at James before he left, and he snickered quietly.

When Jordan left, James tried to protest. But he was already gone. Sighing, he looked at Alexxiz, then back at his paper, continuing to draw. His brother obviously didn't leave to go get Jamie. He wanted to leave James alone with a girl he barely knew, to make it awkward for him. James bit his lip, running his fingers through his hair.

Alexxiz watched Jordan go, and wondered if he was really checking on his sister. James looked really akward all the sudden, which made her doubt it, and of course made her feel akward too

After a while, James shut his notebook, looking over at her. "Thirsty?", he asked, standing and going over to a mini-fridge that came with the room. He got a can of soda out, offering it to her.

"No thank you." she says politely to James "I don't like soda much."

[Laundry Detergent.]

James nodded, going back over to his bed and popping open the can. "Why not?", he asked, taking a quick sip of it. He set it aside, opening his notebook again,

Alexxiz shrugged. "Never really liked it. I don't know why. It tastes wierd to me." she says, scooting back on the bed to lean against the wall

James nodded, glancing up at her. "Cool.", he said. Wait. Did he just say cool? How was that cool? He was so bad at talking to girls, unlike his brother. "I heard you, um, asking about Jamie..earlier.", he began, running the back of his neck. "And to answer your question; Yes. Yes she does have a thing for fire. In fact, she's practically obsessed with it.", he said, looking at her.

Alexxiz frowned. So that kind of explained the heat coming from her, but she doubted it was the only reason. There had to be more to it than an obsession.

[Laundry Detergent.]

"It's actually kind of weird.", he added in, starting to twirl his pencil around with his fingers. "One time, she was cooking some pasta back home. She saw some food inside the burner, and she just reached in and took it out. She didn't even get burned or anything.", he said, shrugging slightly. "My parents thought there was something wrong with her, so they sent her here. But, she wouldn't go without us, so that's why we're here.", he added.
