Brent looked at the couple and rolled his eyes, then got up and sniffed around for food or really anything mildly interesting

James shrugged. "I dunno.", he said, then got off of her, laying down next to her.

Jamie accidentally dropped the lighter, and it made an old blanket catch fire. She let out a small gasp, quickly stomping it out before the others noticed. She picked up the lighter again, stuffing it into her pocket and sitting on the floor.

"THANK you." Alexiz said, laughing quietly, bumping him with her shoulder

Brent was looking around, noteven finding any mice to play with, and smelled fire. He looked around confused, not seeing anything, and decided to go to the girl who had 'adopted' him. He meowed at her insistently, hoping for food. He eyes the blackened blanket next to her, but sits at her feet

James rolled his eyes. "I'll finish later, ma'am.", he said with a chuckle, leaning over and kissing her cheek lightly.

Jamie smiled slightly at the sight of the cat from earlier. "You hungry?", she asked it, scratching behind its ear.

Alexiz rolled her eyes, smiling. Wierd how the best time she's had here so far was in a creepy basement.

Brent glared at her impatiently, his eyes saying Duh! Feed me!

James grinned at her, standing and pulling her up with him. He took her hand in his, starting to wander around.

Jamie sighed, looking around. "Um...", she said, standing and walking around the room.

Alexiz groaned. She wanted to lay down and be lazy. "Where are we goooing?" she asked in a complaining voice

"Oh, shush.", James said to her, smiling at her. "I'm trying to find you a bed to sleep in, missy!", he said, laughing.

"There were a bunch of beds in the other room." she pointed out. "Or I could have slept on the floor."

Brent watched Jamie expectantly, hoping she had something. If not, he was going to try to squeeze out those broken windows in the other room to find dinner

James rolled his eyes, stopping and turning to her. "I wanted to get you somewhere private. And I don't want you to sleep on the floor.", he said, then started walking again. Finally, he saw a bed, and he led her over to it.

Jamie gave up, looking at the cat and sighing. "Sorry..", she said, biting her lip.
