Snake Will Pay (Soulie, wolfrunner, ~Erica~)

Erica let the string go slack and pointed the arrow at the ground as she paused to think about it. She watched the man who had been holding the gun leave, and the one who had been talking go back inside. She wasn't sure if what he was saying was true, but she knew she had to find out. She moved out of the glade of trees slowly like a frightened dear. She paused to see if anything would happen and when nothing did she continued forward till she reached the door and then paused again just outside.

[soulie]

"You may enter now. Thats if you want to." The man yelled impatiently now as he waved his guards away except the one always by his side.

[~Erica~]

Erica frowned and nudged the door open with her foot, expecting something bad to happen and when nothing did once again she inched in and glanced around for Sully, taking careful note of the two men who were already inside.

[soulie]

Theres a small window in that door you can go take a look if you want. All my men are gone." he smiled. "He's alive but....then he's also not. He's in a special coma that the capitol invented. If we took away the medicine thats being pumped into him. He would die before his heart could beat another beat. That is unless you get this drug that will counter the virus in him and course it to become neutral and who knows it could even slow down the other virus in him that is killing him. To get that drug though...eh it's really hard and you know it requires payment.......your friends delivered to Snake would do." Mosey smirked as he stood and looked through the window.

[~Erica~]

Erica walked over to the door and looked in to see Sully. She tried the handle but it was locked just as she had expected. Her eyes dimmed a little with held back tears, and she drew in a deep breath and held it till she could neutralize her face once more before turning back to face the two men. "I...I can't. I can't give them up." she whispered, though her voice was firm. She wanted Sully back more than anything, but a failure of the rebellion would mean her death, and Sully's. Her twin, and Cassie and Cody.

[soulie]

"You don't have to answer now and who knows maybe you could come up with another payment but no sorry I'm not trading him with you. Not really beneficial to me. So you have well until the end of tomorrow since thats when the medicine runs out and well no meds...no Sully." Mosey returned to his seat with a sigh.

[~Erica~]

{I gots to go soon, real life calls and I have things to do, places to be, people to see ^^ so if I don't reply after a bit that's why}

Erica had been about to suggest that but shut her mouth and listened, dark eyes hard and narrowed at him. Sully was alive, and that small piece of news made her heart dance with joy but she had no way to get him out safely. However, a plan was beginning to form in her mind. "Well if that's true then you can count on my coming back." she whispered, face dropping, and shoulders slumping, looking broken and beaten, but inside she rejoiced.

"Oh and remember getting the medicine made and sent here...takes time so realistically you have 12 hours. I hope you know what to do." He laughed and sent for his guards to get him something to eat.

[wolfrunner]

Clara set Cody down and watched the place where Erica had disappeared. "I'm not sure about this Tiragan. Why would the Peacekeepers do this? Erica shouldn't have gone.", but the girl knew that there was nothing to be done now. All they could do was stay alert and keep an eye on the two kids Erica left with them.

[~Erica~]

Tiragan sighed softly and nodded, he agreed with Clara. "I know she shouldn't have gone, but there's nothing you or I could have done to stop her. Once Erica makes up her mind about something..." he shrugged helplessly. There was nothing that could stop her from getting what she wanted. At times he was glad that Erica was so indecisive about things, because when she did decide she was one seriously stubborn girl.

Erica shot one last glare at the man, wishing that looks could kill because he would have dropped dead. She left quickly, and ran as soon as she was out the door, steps erratic and wild, keeping the image of someone broken. She ran through the woods, determination growing with each step as she fell into a steady rhythm once more.
