Snake Will Pay (Soulie, wolfrunner, ~Erica~)

Clara ran out keeping close by Tiragan, and keeping an eye on Erica and the kids. She felt tears welling up her eyes, but she shook then away. She slung her bow back over her shoulders, and turned to pick Cody up. "Come on Cody. We can run faster if you and Cassie are are carried.", she said, keeping her voice steady as she could. She picked Cody up in her arms and continued to run.

[soulie]

"NOOOOOO! PUT ME DOWN! I HAVE TO STAY WITH MOMMY AND CASSIE TO PROTECT THEM! PUT ME DOWN!" Cody's voice was high and squeaky as he let out a crying yell.

[~Erica~]

"Cody! Don't yell." Erica warned before scooping Cassie up. "Clara's right we'll go faster like this and you can protect us by going faster. How about you and Clara lead us?" That way you can keep the danger away from mommy and Cassie because we'll be right behind you?"

[soulie]

Cody looked down sadly and nodded "Ok Mommy." He whispered. "Where to now mommy." He asked relaxing in Clara's arms.

[~Erica~]

"We're going to find district eleven." Erica replied gesturing in the direction they needed to head.

[wolfrunner]

"Hopefully find some shelter there too.", said Clara carrying Cody. Still, she kept close to Cassie and Erica.

[~Erica~]

Erica nodded, "Hopefully." she agreed, shifting Cassie a little bit. She glanced over her shoulder, back at her twin and gave him a wan smile. She could feel the worry almost pouring off him. She was fine for the moment, mostly she wanted to get there so she could be alone for a little while to grieve.

Clara kept running, they couldn't stop. They had to be in the clear soon.

[~Erica~]

Finally, Erica deemed they were far enough in to be safe and stopped, breathing hard with the effort of running and carrying Cassie with her two. "I think we're safe now." she mumbled through deep breaths.

[soulie]

Suddenly a loud crackle sounded and a man's voice came. It echoed through the microphone but it was very faint to them being so far but it managed to reach. "Attention rebels. I have great news for you. Your friend is alive and if you turn yourselves in you can all come with me and remain in lockdown safely together until the end of this rebellion. If you do not believe me that he is alive then I guess I can give you this offer. Turn yourselves in and you can have the body. At least you can take him and bury him. You have an hour to turn yourselves in or we kill him and burn his body so you have nothing left of him." The voice echoes till it was gone leaving silence.
