Snake Will Pay (Soulie, wolfrunner, ~Erica~)

Erica chuckled lightly at that and nodded, she had basically given him a lecture on encouragement even if it had been over a number of months. She watched for a few moments as Cody started walking around the craft trying to memorize everything in it and then turned back to Sully. "I'm not going to have to pull out any lectures on saying nice things now am I?" She asked a little teasingly trying to lighten the more tense mood with a joke.

Sully laughed and rolled his eyes playfully. "I don't know. I thought it was my bad boy charm you like. I mean come on when I beat up Damien so you could play with us, you like it. You act all innocent but you love the bad boys." he gave her a playful smirk and poked her gently, kissing her. "Thats why you love me." He whispered.

[~Erica~]

Erica laughed as well at his teasing and kissed him back, putting her arms lightly around him. "You got me pegged babe, I do love my bad boy." She teased back saucily giving him a kiss as well. "But I love you for far more reasons than just that one." She added softly, looking up at him with a sweet smile.

Sully smirk and held onto her as he kissed her. "Why thank and I know I mean, what isn't there to love about me." He laughed playfully and kissed her. "I know you all so well but I have known you my whole life." He whispered and kissed her again. "if I didn't then I would be stupid." He smiled softy.

[~Erica~]

Erica chuckled and rolled her eyes at him with a smile. "Well..." She started in a playful voice but stopped when he kissed her. Still he was right there wasn't anything about him she didn't love. "Hmmm." She murmured against his lips as he kissed her again and then pulled away with a soft smile. "And of course you're not stupid." She murmured back to him, no longer teasing, but simple soft and sincere.

'Thanks...but sometimes I feel stupid. Your smarter and always will be because you know the right way to look at things. I see a lot of negatives but you help to show me the positives." He whispered and glanced back seeing Cody making his way around for the third time doing remarkable well for only his third time.

[~Erica~]

"I don't know that that makes me smarter Sully, I'm just optimistic is all. After all why bother being pessimistic? It won't work anyways." Erica told him, making a little joke at the end. "But Sully the only reason I'm that way is because I don't like being sad and I don't like crying so I don't think about it." She told him glancing away. That's why she apologized when she got upset, it was because she was being sorry for her need to cry not because anything she had done was wrong.

"I know but your smart enough to see the good." he chuckled and kissed her nose. "And smart enough to make cheesy little jokes like that." He pulled her closer. "I know...and I hate seeing you cry...that only means I failed at protecting you. I'm sorry lately that so much has been hurting you...I really am. I'm not doing a very good job..." He whispered.

[~Erica~]

Erica smiled and wrinkled her nose teasingly at him and chuckled, her choke had been pretty cheesy she would certainly agree with that. She set her chin on Sully's shoulder as he pulled her closer and wrapped her arms tighter around him, kind of glad Cody couldn't see them. "Sully I don't blame you and you shouldn't blame yourself for it either, you haven't failed sometimes stuff just gets in the way and there's nothing you or I can do about it." She told him.

"If I was stronger....I could have saved you..from all of it..." he whispered and laid his head on hers. "It hurts to see you hurt...I just wish there was something I could do to make it so you never get hurt so eveything is ok." he whispered again.
