Snake Will Pay (Soulie, wolfrunner, ~Erica~)

[~Erica~]

Erica nodded, smiling softly at how nice that sounded and kissed the top of his head lightly. "I like the sound of that Sully." She murmured to him trying to imagine it. Living without the fear of the Capitol taking away their kids in the games, or of the Capitol killing them for something, or of anything really. She wanted that to be their reality, and the sooner all the was finished the sooner it would be.

[soulie]

"I'm glad...I still plan to fix up that old house for us...maybe make it bigger. I'll make it bigger and I'll make it home..for use...for you...me..and the kids. I promise that.." He whispered.

"That sounds like a lot of fun dad!" Cody blurted out as he pushed out of a small cabinet. He tumbled around a little till he found a wall. "When we find uncle jet and Aunt Arya..are we going home?" He asked like nothing was wrong and it was fine for him to be there.

[~Erica~]

"Hmmm, you better be keeping that promise now." Erica teased lightly but she smiled at the thought of it. "Because it sounds like a dream come true to me." She started as Cody tumbled out if a cabinet and stared at him in dis belief. "Cody! How on earth did you get on here, you where suppose to stay at the base with your uncle and sister... You didn't bring Cassie with you did you?" She asked in an upset tone, frowning reproachingly at him. He shouldn't be here this was far to dangerous for a nine year old boy.

"C-" Sully jumped up as soon as Erica did and rushed over. "What are you thinking Cody!?" he said the anger in his tone.

"I'm tired of staying at the base. I wanna help you guys..." He said looking down knowing they weren't happy by there tones. "I'm sorry..." He whispered and shook his head. "No I made Cassie stay..." He replied and stumbled forward a little, grabbing onto Erica. "I wanna help you...." he said again softly.

[~Erica~]

Erica sighed softly as Cody looked upset because of the the of voice she and Sully had adopted. She wasn't mad at him, she just felt scared that he would get hurt. At least Cassie had stayed behind. The Capitol was no place for a six year old girl after all, but a nine year old boy wasn't much better. In fact she and Sully really shouldn't have to go either. "Cody I know you want to help, but you could have helped most by watching Cassie. Daddy and I don't want anything to happen to you guys.

"I'll be fine I promise!" He said looking up. "I want daddy and you to teach me how to fight. You told me stories about daddy and he was blind to so I can do it to. Please!" He said his grip loosening a little.

Sully frowned as he kneeled down but looked u to Erica his frown getting worse as Cody spoke. "Cody...I'm sorry for yelling like that but please understand we just don't want to see you get hurt and we know you want to help but..." He stopped as Cody mentioned learning to fight like him. Even though he was kinda happy he still frowned. "Cody thats fine we can teach you but...it took a very long time for me to learn to get around without any problems let alone be able to throw a knife straight. We could have taught you after we got back and got home. Right now..your in danger Cody...."

[~Erica~]

Erica knelt down as well and enveloped Cody in a gentle hug, kissing his forehead lightly. "We will teach you Cody but its going to take some time first. And while we're in the Capitol you have to stay here on the hovercraft okay. We can't teach you if you get hurt." She told him.

[soulie]

"While WE'RE in the capitol? No...Erica I told you...that you have to stay on the hover craft and with Cody here...please. If something happened. They can't lose us both and it's my cousin and my fault he's here. You shouldn't have to suffer because of that." he said not very happy that Cody was here or that Erica expected to follow him into the capitol.

"I can learn fast please I can help I know I can." he said almost begging to help them then and there.

[~Erica~]

Erica glanced away frowning slightly at herself, she couldn't leave Cody here on his own anyways so she just nodded slightly. "Alright." She told Sully in a quiet voice with a sigh before looking back down at Cody. "I promise we'll help you Cody but not here. Once all of us get out of the Capitol and we go somewhere safe Sully and I can teach you and Cassie how to defend yourselves." She assured him.

[soulie]

"But if you show me now than I can help you guys..I promise...please!" He said his grip tightening a little.

"Fine..." Sully said letting out a sigh not being able to take it anymore. "Let's go..." he said said standing and walking to another corner of the section they were in. "Follow my steps. Listen over the sound of the craft, over use breathing, over your own heart beat. All you should hear is my foot step. Thats all. Tell me each time I take a step. Three chances. You mess up three times then...you have to wait till we get back home. Got it?"

Cody jumped up with a smile but stopped seeing the seriousness Sully had and nodded a little scared now.
