Poppyleaf stepped out into the blinding sunlight. She blinked and sighed. Last night, at the gathering, she had met the cat of her dreams: strong, smart, handsom- but most of all, kind. There was only one problem: he was from another clan. Why? she thought. None of the Nightclan toms interested her. The other cats were pushing her to get a mate, and it was getting really annoying. Even though she was the deputy, the other cats thought she was "lonely" and needed company, with new kits. The clan was running short on kits, only one litter had been born this year. She heard Silverstar's call, and gathered beneath Highrock with the rest of the clan.

Sunpaw~Apprentice~Nightclan
Sunpaw stretched and got ready to go to his mentor, Silverstar. It was his first day as an apprentice, and he wanted to make his father proud. He stood beneath Highrock, wondering what Silverstar was going to announce.

((Sunpaw and Poppyleaf have the same mother, but have a huge age difference))

Two things, Thunderstorm has a crush on the medicine cat, but he will soon also have a crush on Poppyleaf, and Silverstar didn't call a meeting, she is just sitting there)

She leaped down off the rock and padded over to Sunpaw. She sat down, wrapping her tail around her paws. "Come along, we will be checking the territory, Poppyleaf, would you like to join us with your apprentice Hollypaw?" She asked, looking at the she-cat.

Poppyleaf snapped out of her daydream. "Wha-what? Oh, sure." She smiled and followed Silverstar. "Oh, Hollypaw is with her mother, she can't come. But I'll come with you."

"Yay!" Sunpaw said happily. He had been so excited to have the leader as his mentor!

The tom squeezed out of the camp and bounded towards the Nightclan border. He padded along, marking the border. "Hi Silverstar" He called, seeing the she-cat. He saw an apprentice and another warrior, the one from the gathering last night. He sighed, she was nice, but he wasn't sure if he liked her or Silvermist, both were pretty she-cats.

She nodded, and flicked her tail. She headed out of the camp and started down the Forestclan border. She heard her name called by a tom and looked up. "Good Morning Thunderstorm, how is Forestclan?" She asked, dipping her head. She slowed to a halt.

Poppyleaf smiled when she saw Thunderstorm. "Hi!" she said. "We met at the gathering last night, do you remember?" Her tail twitched eagerly.

Sunpaw rolled his eyes when the leader stopped to talk to an enemy cat. An enemy cat! What was she thinking? He hissed under his breath. Why was the deputy flirting with the enemy cat?!
