"Jake, you know how I've always wanted to be on American Idol?" I asked catiously. "Well, what if I audition? The auditions are just 20 minutes away in Fresno! If I win, which I know I can, then we would have $25,000!"

"Yeah...yeah that would be a great idea." I said, "When can you audition?"

That ad that came across said auditions are in two days" I replied easily.

"Two days! Are you going to be ready in time!?"

"Well, yeah, it woun't be hard" I replied.

"Okay then, but you have to practice a lot, what are you gonna sing?"

"Um, Take Care?" I asked, knowing I could sing that really well.

"Cool." I said, "Sing it to me."
