[Choco]

Kerith frowned when he caught her scent and walked silently, following it. He rolled his eyes when he followed it to his room and leaned against the doorframe, making sure she wouldn't notice him. He wanted to see what she would do inside, so he didn't make a noise, simply watching.

Avalon shivered and softly cried into his mattress. She couldn't take the confusion and the stress anymore; all she wanted were answers to her simple questions. She sat up and wiped her tears away, sniffling softly as she glanced around

[Choco]

Kerith felt guilty at her tears, twitching. He hadn't meant to make her feel that way, but he hadn't been with humans for such a long time, he didn't know how they felt. He didn't really feel anymore.. He continued to watch her, biting the inside of her lip. She was only a child, that was visible.

Avalon shivered and stopped crying, "Oh gosh he going to kill me..." she breathed and whimpered softly. She was seventeen, but she was to upset to act like she was. She couldn't stop hurting inside; she was terrified that he would soon disposed of her.

[Choco]

Kerith winced and gave up, walking over to her. He sat next to her, gently puttin an arm around her. "Shhh.." He whispered to her, rubbing her back gently in hope she would relax. "Everything will be fine." He muttered soothingly, just trying to relax her. It was still quite dark.

Avalon gazed up at him, sniffling loudly. She slowly began to relax in his embrace and soon began to trust him. She moved and cuddled into his lap, shivering violently.

[Choco]

Kerith put his other arm around her, wanting her to relax. "Shhh.. Nothing else bad will happen.." He whispered, rubbing her back still. "Go to sleep." He said quietly, humming softly in hope she would relax and fall asleep. He still felt guilty for making her cry so badly, even though he knew he shouldn't have.

Avalon sighed in content and wrapped her arms around his waist, as she rested her head against his chest. She yawned, and her exhausted body pressed to his, as she soon fell asleep. She let a few more tears flow from her eyes before, Avalon completely went to sleep. This time her sleep was restful and the nightmares seemed to have disappeared.

Kerith gently unwrapped her arms from around his waist, laying her down without disturbing her too much. He gently covered her with a blanket and went out of his room, leaving the door open in case she went sleep walking or something. He crept down the stairs, wondering whether he had really upset her that much. Was he really that horrible?

Avalon woke up as soon as the sun's morning rays of light, came through the curtains in Kerith's bedroom. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, as she slowly got herself out of sleep. She put her messy, curly hair into a neat braid and headed downstairs. Avalon yawned once more as she walked into the kitchen, slowly opening the refridgerator.
