Ravenflight followed Moonshade and parted his jaws to scent the air. The cool breeze stirred his midnight black fur as the sun began to set. He walked along the border with her with his nose sniffing the air and the ground. "I don't smell anything-at least not yet. You?"

Cloversplah grunted. "Right. Well, I wish they weren't so stupid." She opened her jaws in a wide yawn. "It's pretty late. See you later." She flicked her tail over his ears as she padded away towards the Warriors Den. Her paws padded lightly on the ground as she made her way to her nest on the right side of the den.

Silverpaw trotted through the camp entrance and headed straight to the Medicine Cats' Den. The smell of raw flesh hit his nose and his eyes widened. He quickened his pace and padded through the entrance. He saw Blackpelt first, and then he saw his tail and he twitched his whiskers in shock. Dropping the pine, Silverpaw meowed, "What happened?!" You took too long! You should have been here!
