Flame and Mist

Two clans fight. Two clans protect. Two clans love. Two clans hate. Two clans live. Two clans survive.

You stalk a mouse silently as it nibbles at a small nut beneath a large oak tree. Perfect... No one's around and you're not caught yet. Plus, the night's darkness conceals you from view. It's so quiet in this unfamiliar forest, you can almost hear your own heart beating. Your stomach growls in hunger and you don't move your eyes away from your future meal. I'm just going to catch it and go. I don't want to stick around this place. The moonlight filtering down through the treetops baths the clearing you're crouching in. Everywhere you look, you feel there's someone watching you. Once you're close enough, a twig snaps behind you and the rodent dashes off. You stand up, letting out a growl, but your eyes can't hide the fact how frightened you are. Then you see them.
Three strong looking cats make there way to you. One leaps silently down a tree to land one tail-length away from you and two more appear from the shadows, standing at the large tom's sides. Their heads are raised proudly and their eyes glint in the moonlight. "What are you doing on Clan territory?" one large ginger tom snaps at you. A smaller cat rests her tail on her comrade's shoulders to calm him. You stare with wide eyes at the battle-hardened cats, with proud faces and mysterious eyes. Warriors... You remember hearing about them, thinking they were all made up stories before, only now your're wrong about them being myths.
The she-cat, a pretty, dark grey tabby, steps forward to look at you with piercing, intelligent indigo eyes. You crouch down in fear as she unsheathes her razor sharp claws and you notice a long scar running down the other tom's flank. "Well? Are you here to join either us or Flameclan? If not..." She growls and takes another step towards you but doesn't seem to give any indication of a fight. "..If not, then you better explain why you're hunting on Mistclan territory."

Mistclan and Flameclan. Both are strong and powerful. But to each one individually, one is always better than the other.
In harmony, everything is peaceful between the two clans. But of course, that period of peace between the two never sticks around for long...
Battles are a way of life. You must fight to survive in these lands, and fight to protect your clan. The same goes for hunting.
Betray your clan, whether it be Flameclan or Mistclan, and you will be punished or even exiled. Unless of course, you get off on a lucky streak...

Well, you think you can make it through without whining? It's your choice.

---FLAMECLAN--- Flameclan is a lot prouder than Mistclan. They are magnificent fighters, but really, both clans are. Flameclan does not tolerate intruders. If you enter their territory when the leader is not in a good mood, you'll be lucky to be kicked out alive. They are quick to fight and are smart too. Fighting is their strongest suit, though at times, it's not the best thing to deal with probems. They have strong legs, but cannot climb trees as fast as Mistclan cats do. They are a little bigger in size though, which is a plus when they are fighting. Flameclan is a mighty, honorable clan that will always want more warriors. Just make sure to not get on their bad side. Like any other cat raised in the forest by their clan, everyone is loyal to each other. Each clanmate does what he must to protect his own. Besides being rash and quick to judge, Flameclan cats have one similarity with Mistclan cats: they both with die for their clans and do what it takes to protect their loved ones.


---MISTCLAN--- Mistclan may not look as "superior" as Flameclan, but they can match their fighting skills in battle with ease. Most of the time though, they try to avoid any confrontations before the fighting, unlike Flameclan. They are mostly known for their mysterious behaviour. Mistclan cats are swift on foot, but not very lithe and thin like one of the ancient clans called Windclan. They are also quick to judge intruders like Flameclan, but they wouldn't be the type to attack right then and there. They can climb trees as easily as they can run, so that's an advantage in fighting against Flameclan when they need to. They are strong-willed and caring for their loved ones, and will kill if needed. Mistclan cats have hard muscles and strong legs for running swiftly and jumping. They are a little smaller in frame size than Flameclan cats, but are not thin. Both clans have thick fur.

Character Name: Moonshade
Gender: she-cat
Age: 26 moons
Clan: Mistclan
Rank: Warrior
Description [ie. fur colour/length, eyes, size, ect]: Moonshade is known for her beautiful smokey, very dark grey, with blended silver (base colours mixed together) tabby coat and jet black stripes (imagine coat a little darker in the pics). Her paws and cheeks are pure white. She's a strongly built she-cat with thick, soft medium-length fur. She doesn't have very long legs, but she can still run fast. Moonshade has big, bright blue eyes that always sparkle in the sunlight and moonlight, so dark that they seem to be a dark indigo colour.
Personality: Strong hearted she-cat with a caring personality. She is extremely fierce in battle and quick and smart while fighting. Will stand up for herself and others she cares for when needed but doesn't like to make a fuss over things and doesnt want to attract attention, being humble. She's very smart, brave and courageous, but sweet. Moonshade has a very mysterious and powerful aura that seems to emanate from her when she is fighting, speaking about something important, or is challenged about her family- Moonshade, seeming a very strong and mysterious name, fit her perfectly.

History (OPTIONAL): Was found lying in between the border separating Flameclan and Mistclan, at one moon old. She was beaten badly and was found in surprise by a Mistclan patrol. She didn't smell like Flameclan, though she had rogue smell all around. She was thought to be abandoned by her rogue parents, but they never knew for sure. Moonshade grew up as a Mistclan warrior, but was very confused when she was still a kit, and never thought this was her real home She was named Moonkit because of how she looked when found; lying underneath the starry night sky with the full moon surrounding her small, mysterious-looking dark grey tabby body in its light; almost like a barrier from harm to touch her.

Description [ie. fur colour/length, eyes, size, ect]: Goldenheart has the most beautiful, yet unnatural, yellow-brown coat. It's so bright and deeply coloured, it really does look golden, hence her name. It shimmers in the sunlight, turning it to a dazzling bright yellow. She also has big, bright, sky-blue eyes. She honestly is completely oblivious to her beauty, for no one ever tells her she's pretty. Small frame, but good muscular figure.
Personality: Quiet and peaceful; Goldenheart is a very pleasant she-cat to be around. Though no one usually tries to heat up a conversation with her, she always strives to help and do her best in the clan. She doesn't like fighting as much as others, but if someone she cares for is in trouble, she will become dangerous. Goldenheart never complains much and does what she must for her clan.
Kin: None. Mother left her to run away from the clan and father was a rogue. Brother died at birth and had a sister, but she disappeared as well.
Crush: ...
Mate: Wants but forbidden. Doesn't think she'd find love anyway.

History (OPTIONAL): Her mother mated with a rogue as he tricked her saying he would join the clan, but didn't. She had Goldenheart, a tom and another she-kit , but the tom died at birth. Goldenheart had a sister, but after a moon of them being born, some rogue came and stole her from the nursery at night. The other she-kit was never to be found, and all of Flameclan was upset at the loss of an innocent life; thinking she was dead by now. Her mother was rebuked and punished, but was still allowed to live in Flameclan, for she still had one kit to take care of. But Goldenheart suffered the cold stares and raised hackles too, though it wasn't her fault her mother broke the code and her sister was stolen. One cold, leaf-bare night, her mother left her when she was just six moons old, promising they'd meet again, and told her she loved her. She left, and never came back. Goldenheart then chose to be a medicine cat; to save lives and help her clanmates, and to gain their trust again.

Description [ie. fur colour/length, eyes, size, ect]: Light grey tabby tom, with very faint darker grey stripes. His fur looks a soft, dove-grey in the light. He's got warm, light blue eyes. Relatively muscular and stocky for a normal Flameclan size. Besides that, he has slightly fluffy, soft, kit-like fur.
Personality: Happy-Go-Lucky and upbeat, Jaystorm tries to put a smile on everyone's faces. He's a very quick thinker and is exceptional at hunting. He love to climb trees and leap from branch to branch, trying to glimpse the beginning of a sunset or sunrise. He's soft-spoken and kind, though, beside him being so energetic.

Morningstar's fur is mostly brown with some lighter shades that fade in and out of her pelt, here and there. Her fur is very soft and silky, and it's at a medium length. She has wide, round, hazel eyes, and long white whiskers. Only her chest fur and underbelly fur are white, and all the other fur on her is brown and a little tan. She has a maroon-colored nose that sits perfectly on her muzzle, too.
Personality:
Morningstar is a courageous, bold, and brave she-cat; she often puts her life on the line, just to protect her clan, and she takes her duties very seriously. She can be strict and stern at times, when it's needed {like at clan meetings, or when someone back-talks to her}. but she's also very kind and caring at other times. She has a good heart and a kind soul, and is usually always very nice. She makes friends easily and loves give advice and share wisdom. She is very smart, cunning, witty, and decisive, and never freaks out in dangerous situation. Basically, she makes a great friend or best friend, but an even better leader; she has those natural, genuine leading skills, and an authoritative aura to her. She is very loving to her family or a mate, but since she doesn't have either of those right now, not many cats know of her loving side.
Kin: All of her family is dead, and nobody but her knows why.
Crush: She doesn't have a crush; impress her.
Mate: She doesn't have a mate, but would like one someday.
