Alyx followed Atlas, smiling weirdly.

Kirin walked after atlas and Alyx.

Atlas slowed down when he reached the ruins, he let Alyx off.

Alyx nodded. "Thank you." she said, peering over the edge. Something dashed past, causing Alyx to fall in. However, she was still grinning as she collided with the floor, blood speckling the ground. "I hear her." she muttered, looking around her.

Something chuckled. Alyx turned around, seeing a young boy curled up behind a rock. "You okay?" Alyx asked, feeling uneasy.

"Yeah... now that I have something to eat!" the boy squealed, glowing dark.

Atlas tilted his head at the boy's words, he realized what he meant and snarled loudly.

The 'boy' transformed into a hideous thing, pure black, torn arms with two sharp claws, and a couple pairs of other arms, smaller, without the claws. It had one, bulging eye, and a grin planted on its face. Sharp pinches on either side of the mouth, and some around the head. Red markings circled the creatures face, and its tail ended like a scorpion.

Kirin snarled and jumped down the hole, glaring at the scorpion beast.

Lenno shrieked. "Do not put on a facial expression! Smiling, frowning, any expression makes it stronger!"

Kirin nodded and made his face emotionless, he attacked the creature with a flare blitz.

Titch's face was quite calm too, but he was still screaming, oddly enough. Evan calmly made her was under Atlas's scales so she could be free to be smiling or frowning.
