Shadow: I shift uncomfortably and I hug my knees tightly to my chest. "Twelve." I murmer, barely audibe.

"twelve!? Ha! I bought a twelve year old as a slave, ha!" he started cracking up.

Shadow: "so? Your like 1000 years old." I manage to squeak out.

"I'm 1576 years old, and you are twelve which is 1564 years younger than me. I was expecting at least fifteen or something..."

Shadow: I remain silent, but I hand you my phone, which currently was on ancester.com. it showed a family tree, and it showed that you were my 84th cousin. "Technically, I'm part of the family. So stop making fun of your little cousin." I reply quietly.

He looked at his picture which was just an old drawing, it was bad and he looked totally different then "wow... I haven't seen that picture since... Since I was thirty... It was so long ago, so far away..." he closed his eyes "how did it find that?" he asked

Shadow: shrugs. "I dunno. All I did was put in my moma's and daddy's information, and all of that came up. You look like a zombie there." I giggle.

"ok, number one, I looked different than I do now, the style was different, everything was different. Number two, that sketch of me was done by one of the best sketchers in the area, I do not look like a zombie. Try having no electricity, no cameras, no heat, no air conditioning, no showers, no food that you can get at stores, no ovens, no processed or canned foods, no nothing. That's how it was backthen, I'm lucky enough to even have a picture." he stated "just think about that time and then tell me if I looked like a zombie or not. I was tired, I was filthy, I was bored, I was sick."
