Drake jumped when he heard the band from the gun, and quickly started to run, his leg not giving him good support. He knew he was going to trip up, but he might as well get as far away as possible.

Ralen raced after Drake, staying at his heels.

The puppy yelped, stumbling slightly.

Drake glanced over at the puppy when it yelped, blinking at it worriedly.

[Sabatea]

The puppy stumbled after Drake quickly, yelping again when another gun shot sounded, hitting a tree near them.

Ralen winced some, his pace starting to slow.

Drake coughed again, starting to pick up his pace again. He glanced behind him to see Ralen slowing down, and then started to meet his pace, panting.

"Keep going..." Ralen murmured, slowing further.

"Not without you," he hissed, continuing to slow with Ralen. He coughed again, his leg suddenly giving out. He collapsed on his hands and knees, gritting his teeth together.

Ralen skidded to a stop quickly, turning back to Drake, trying to help him up quickly. He growled some when he heard loud voices coming towards them.

Drake glanced up at Ralen, shaking his head. "My leg hurts too much, I won't be able to walk," he told him, growling. "Just go!"

"No." Ralen murmured simply, sitting down beside him, blinking at him sadly.
