"Sorry..." The doctor murmured again, opening the door again to leave. He gave a small cry when the door jerked suddenly, an animal racing into the room and leaping up beside Drake.

Drake remained quiet when he spoke again, and then flinched when something jumped up on the bed beside him. He moved away from it quickly, coughing.

Ralen blinked at Drake for a moment before he whined, his ears drooping from exhaustion.

Drake glanced over at the animal, and blinked at it weakly, coughing. His eyes were still glazed, and he frowned.

Drake glanced over at the doctor, before he glanced back at Ralen, confused. "N-no..he's..mine.." he said, speaking slowly.

Ralen collapsed on the bed suddenly, giving a soft whimper.
