Drake shuddered some, and coughed again. He felt more blood trickling down his mouth, and mumbled something again, something that sounded like, "Puppy".

The dog leapt up on the bed beside Drake suddenly, blinking at him.

The doctor jumped slightly at the sudden appearance of the puppy before he frowned, starting to push it off the bed.

Drake glanced over at the blurry figure of the puppy, and grabbed it quickly when the doctor started to push it off the bed. "No.." he hissed weakly, coughing.

The doctor glared at Drake for a moment before he sighed and continued to check him, muttering under his breath.

The puppy wagged its tail at Drake, blinking at him.

Drake held onto the puppy, the only thing here he recognized anymore. He held it close to him, coughing hard every few seconds.

The puppy lay still now, blinking at Drake silently.

The doctor glanced at Drake before he murmured, "I'm going to bandage your wounds, alright?"

Drake couldn't quite understand what the doctor was saying, and just stared at him, blinking.
