Taylor just got up and huged him, she had been trying to stay strong and not let the tears fall. She couldn't hold them in any longer.

"No, no, no," Nick whispered, pulling away from her and rubbing her tears from her cheeks with his thumb. "Shh. Don't cry," he said softly, trying to sound strong and reasuring, though the tears where shining in his eyes as well. He hugged her again, holding her close as he stroked her hair.

Taylor took a deep breath, calming herself. She took in his scent and tried her best to stop crying...for him.

Nick inhaled softy and kissed her ear, drawing back to look at her. "I love you, Taylor. Stay strong. Always keep me in mind when things get bad," he whispered.

[juliall]

Taylor nodded. "Keep me in mind too. I love you. Always know that" she said, softly.

[nuwanda.]

"I will," Nick said as he brushed her cheek with his hand. He reached for her hand, looking questioningly at the clock. "Airport?" he asked, knowing it was soon that the plane would leave -with or without him- for the base.

"Yeah" she said.

Squeezing Taylor's hand tightly, Nick walked outside to the car. "You want to drive?" he asked, following it with a tear-choked laugh, remembering that first day that they came home from school and she drove.

Taylor smiled slightly, "If you want me too" she said.

"It's all your choice," Nick said, smiling. "It always has been."
