Alejandro chuckled softly at Gratia's words, cheering up a little."You're right..I'm a one-of-a-kind guy here, they won't find another like me.I should be glad that I'm not like all the other males.." He said with a small smile."I won't try changing myself anymore.Not with a friend like you here..It feels nice to be accepted for once." He said, having a sudden change of mind.Being accepted for once, even if it wasn't a pack that accepted him, made him feel less out of place.

Nick sat down next to Soul, cleaning himself too.He began to stop as Dark approached however.He became alert at this, his ears pricking and fur just showing the slightest hint of bristling, as if a stranger were approaching them.He soon straightened up though, preparing to request something."I'd like to put Soul as the beta here.I think he's strong and has good senses, he'll fit nicely in that place."

Dark had finished too, eating much more than the others though.She came close and stopped at what Nick had said to her.Pondering it for a moment and nodded, agreeing with him."Sure, can't see why not." She said, giving Soul a friendly smile before turning back to Nick."I'll go see what the rest of the pack is up too." She said, leaving them alone.She came to JC now, watching him curiously."Very nice kill you brought here.It was good."

JC looked up at Dark and nodded, showing not much emotion, "Thank you, " He said simply, the bone he had been chewing on was discarded now, he flicked his tail to his side and then looked to everyone else for a moment, not really knowing what to do now at this point, or what to say to Dark.

Gratia nodded and closed her eyes for a moment, she smiled and nodded again at Alejandro's words, "You're always accepted, just others sometimes are afraid to admit they're jealous or they really find your presence different, the truth hurts sometimes, but it always will help, even if we don't see it at first." She said in a gentle tone, letting out a long, soothing breath.

Soul shrugged, his partly blinded eyes searching over the figures of the wolves. He made out Gratia and Alejandro lying side by side talking and smiled, pleased that she had found someone to talk with. He was getting tired though, and got to his paws before he wandered over to a fitting bush. He laid down beneath it, and laid his head carefully down upon his front paws. Sighing he attempted to sleep, although he couldn't at all the buzzing. As he finally managed to get a short nap, he awoke a moment later at a branch crackeling underneath the foot of an animal. Surely larger than any wolf. He shrugged, got to his paws and perked his ears, crouching low to the ground and pinning one ear towards the ground to pick up and footsteps. He did, indeed hear something... Very faintly.

Dark sat down, looking out in the distance."So what's your story?How did you end up here?" She asked, curious as to how he came here.He seemed like a pretty normal though distant wolf, something that normally would be in a pack.She could understand why some of the others were here but couldn't understand why he was here.She pondered the different ways to how he came here while waiting for his answer.

Alejandro felt comforted around her, she was far worse than him, being disabled would never get her even allowed in a pack probably.His only problem was his personality but it paled in comparison to her problems.He was wrong to mope around about how different he was and now he was just starting to realize and open his eyes, with the help of someone who was blind."How are you so upbeat when you're disabled and have bigger problems than me?"

"See, she dosen't mind." He chuckled softly, turning his head to find Soul asleep.It didn't seem to affect him much but Nick had felt good to give his new friend such a high position in the pack.He curled up too, watching the others, not being able to get to sleep.When Soul woke up, he didn't notice at first until he looked at the bush and noticed he was gone.He stood up, watching Soul crouch as if something was there."Hey, what's going on?" He asked, coming in front of Soul and interrupting his stalking, unknowing of what lay in the forest.

Soul noticed that Nick appeared, and shrugged slightly, his ears flat down against the ground. He listened determinedly, before he straightened up and perked his ears, straining to hear what was happening. A slight hint of fear tumbled over in his stomach and he glanced at Nick. "Dogs. Hoards of them. The humans must have decided to hunt." he hissed, his quite blinded gaze intenser than ever. "Get the others out of the way... We'll have to distract them so they don't come here." he said quickly, remembering the injured wolf that had turned up. He didn't know how many of the pack would survive if they all scattered. "Dark!" he yelled across the clearing. "Dogs!" he said quite simply before he whirled around, his ears perked as he continued walking. His intentions was very clear, to lead the dogs away before they came close to the pack. He knew the area better than most, and especially the tunnel system that continued underground.

Dark nodded, "Let's get out of here before they see us!" She called out to the others, heading out of the clearing and into the forest where the trees and bushes could hide them from the dogs.She would let Soul and Nick take care of the dogs.She curled up and sat down at the edge of the forest, poking her head out from behind a bush, watching for the dogs.

Nick nodded to the others, ordering them to follow his mother's orders.He followed Soul right after, wanting to join him and not leave him alone with the dogs.He didn't have much experience with dogs but had experience with wolves who had hunted him.It wasn't too much a difference, was it?

Alejandro stood up, nudging Grace."We should go." He told her quietly, watching to see where Dark had gone.He didn't want to stay out in the open where the dogs could easily attack them.He was afraid, he hadn't seen very many dogs but had heard that they were came with humans who killed wolves.And he didn't want to stick around to see the humans either.

Soul was happy that he wasn't alone, and could hear the steady breath of Nick at his heels. "Alright, when we encounter the dogs, please follow me. If we scatter, there's a larger chance to get caught. Besides, we have to get to cover once we're far enough away." he says, and only a moment the rabid barks of a dog ahead reaches them. Instantly Soul breaks into a run, and heads off towards the dogs at first. He stops a moment, hearing the dogs a little too far away from them to see and smell them. Once they're in view he dash off in the opposite direction, leading the dogs away at the best of his ability.

Gratia nodded and stood up, sniffing the air a bit to try and see why he wanted them to leave now, "Where are we going?" She asked and whipped her head around a few times, trying to get her bearing still, her blindness not realy helping at the moment, "What's happening?" She asked frantically, shifting on her paws, trying to scent Apocalypse but she didn't even pick up her scent.

JC heard some of the other males mention dogs, he growled low and then finds Soul and Nick, "Do you need some back up?" He said in a nonchalant tone, as if he could help and it wouldn't matter much. He honestly just wanted something to get his mind off his cousin and get some payback on those dogs.

(I added a new character, she's gonna help the dogs for a while. Dark remembers my Kaylee Mae..X3)

Nick nodded to JC, "Just follow Soul!" He said as he dashed after Soul, hearing the dogs bark in a frenzy as they saw them.He picked up the pace, trying to run alongside Soul but he wasn't fast enough.He was trying his hardest though, his heart racing with every bark heard from behind.He wanted to look back to see how far away they were but resisted the urge, fearing that he would fall if he did look back.

Alejandro poked her should with his nose, "We need to hide.." He said, nudging her gently towards the forest.He needed to hide but didn't want to leave Gratia out here.His sister was gone too and he should've been worried but he figured that she would be fine.They weren't even here anyways.Although they had been spread apart, which wasn't the best situation.

Kaylee ran alongside the dogs that she followed, "Guys! I'm going in," She told them and slunk low to the ground, once she spotted Soul, JC and Nick she smirked a bit and then jumped before the males, "Why hello there boys, " She said in a slightly flirtatious tone, her blue eyes flickering with mischief.

Gratia nodded and stayed close to Alejandro, "Your friends will be safe with Apocalypse, she will protect them," She said softly and sniffed the air more, she soon picked up the faint scent of dogs, she whimpered a bit but still followed Alejandro.

JC stopped abruptly when his cousin Kaylee blocked their path, he snarled and looked to Soul and then circled his cousin, "Well well well, " He hissed and kept his eyes locked on the lanky figure of Kaylee Mae, he nipped at her ankle, causing her to cry out a bit but she returned the favor by nipping at his ear.
