Kiri blinked, surprised. "Oh--it's fine," she said quietly. She wondered if the other girl knew who she was or not. To be anonymous for once would be a blessing. Being known as the kid with the dead brother was never fun.

Elsie studied the girl, and then suddenly her eyes widened. " You're... You're Kiri! The girl who's brother died. Oh my god I'm so sorry." she said, hugging her tightly.

Tyler nodded. " Anyways, since you're part of the team now, I'm wondering whether you want to come celebrate with me and the rest of the boys..?" he offered him. The guys around Tyler nodded eagerly.

Chris was a tad surprised but didn't show it. "Sure," he agreed cheerfully.

-Kiri-
Kiri winced inwardly. Of course. "Um. Yeah. Thanks..." she mumbled. Kiri hated talking about it and being known for it.

Tyler nodded. " Alright, I'll drive everyone to the mall, so we can grab smoothies and fool around. That's mainly what we do around here." he told Chris, walking over to his black Hummer.

Elsie stopped hugging her and pulled away. " Are you okay? I mean, it must feel horrible. Anyways, I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss, but now I see that you're lonely.. So I'm wondering if you want to hang out?" she said a little too cheerfully. After she told her that, she gave a large smile.

Chris smiled. "Cool."

-Kiri-
Kiri sighed inwardly. The apologizing and then of course, the pity offer. "...Sure," Kiri agreed. What did she have to lose? And in any case, her mom wasn't expecting her home for a while and for once Kiri had no desire to be alone.

Elsie grinned. " Alright. What would you like to do? We can go shopping if you want. My treat." she told her, putting everything away into her beach bag.

Action: " Driving to the mall."

Tyler nodded and unlocked the car. " Chris, you can go in the passengers seat." he told him, and he climbed into the drivers spot, turning the ignition on. " Maybe we'll meet some cute girls at the mall." one of the guys said in a booming voice. Tyler rolled his eyes, laughing.

Kiri hesitated. She didn't go shopping much--she rarely had the money. But in this case... "I guess, then, let's go shopping," Kiri said.

-Chris-
Chris got in the car, resisting the urge to copy Tyler.

Action: " Driving to the mall."

Tyler strapped on his seatbelt. " Before we go, I should introduce you to the guys." he told Chris. " There's Jack, Keidan, Calvin, and Gavin." he told him. They all waved and said a greeting. " Now, let's go." he said cheerfully, putting the car in reverse, getting out of the parking lot before driving towards the mall.

Elsie smiled at Kiri. " Alright, I'll drive you over to the mall and we can pick some things out. Remember, it's a shopping spree, so get as many things as you need." Elsie told her, smiling gleefully. Before she left to the car, she put on heroutfit over her swimsuit, and started walking towards her car. " Coming?" she asked Kiri.

Chris returned the greetings and then was quiet.

-Kiri-
Kiri nodded and followed, wondering how this girl could be so unnaturally cheerful. Since she was already wearing blue jeans and a gray tank top, she didn't have to change. As they headed off, though, Kiri paused and grabbed her flip flops as she walked by them, putting them on and then following Elsie.

Elsie nodded, and brought out her car keys. She then walked over to her white car, a gift from her snobby fashion model mother, and opened the trunk. She put her things inside, and closed it. She then went into the drivers seat and waited for Kiri.

Action: " Arriving at the Mall.."

Tyler decided to turn on the radio, and suddenly a song came on called ' Moves like Jagger.' As the song was written by Maroon 5, the guys started singing along to it. " I've got the mooOOOOooooves like Jagger!" they all said, and Tyler laughed. " You guys sing worser than Justin Bieber." he told them, rolling his eyes. Calvin gasped. " Nu-uh! We sing BETTER." he said, and they continued to say the line over again. Tyler glanced at Chris, who was silent. " We're here." he mumbled, looking for a spot to park.
