Chris didn't roll his eyes, just decided to play really well. If only to make Bryan somewhat regret that. Chris didn't usually try to impress people, but he was a pretty good volleyball player, so... Besides, maybe Tyler was a shot at a friend, so Chris would try to actually play to his ability for once.

Action: " Playing beach volleyball.."

Once the teams were even, Tyler smirked at Bryce. " We're going to kick your guys' asses." he told him, the guys around Tyler laughing. Bryce rolled his eyes, and his team went into their spots. Tyler took his spot as spiker on the left side of the setter. He looked over to Chris. " Do you know the spots and where you're going to be?" he asked, taking off his shirt and throwing it over to the refreshments table.

With: " Nobody."
Activity: " Watching the game."

Elsie opened her eyes, and noticed that there was a volleyball game starting for the boys. " This'll be interesting." she mumbled, taking off her sunglasses and placing them down on her towel. She took off her earplugs, noticing there was a new boy. " Oh, they've been recruiting." she thought to herself, and watched them.

Chris
Chris nodded. "Yeah, I know the places, but is there anywhere in particular you want me to be or...?" He usually just stood where the team captain wanted him. Chris didn't have much of a mind of his own, apparently.

Kiri
Kiri paused about ten feet away, watching the guys. A volleyball game was starting...nice. Fairly sure they wouldn't notice her--Kiri was either nobody or that girl whose brother died, neither of whom people associated with--Kiri walked up to a nice spot a good distance away and settled down to watch. She liked watching volleyball games.

With: " Chris."
Action: " Playing beach volleyball.."

Tyler shrugged. " Are you a good server?" he asked Chris. " It looks like the spot is open. Anyways, I guess you can serve since everything else is taken up. Make sure to serve strongly and aim for the middle." he told him, narrowing his eyes at Bryce. " I'll get the volleyball." he offered, running over to get the volley ball. Once he found it, he grabbed it and ran back towards them. " Alright, Tom, come up. I'll twist the volleyball and you have to step on it." he told him, and as he spun it, Tom put his foot on it instantly. " The bells pointing to our side. I guess we're starting." Tyler told Chris, grinning. " Here ya go." he tossed the volleyball towards him.

Elsie yawned, hoping they would hurry up because she should be leaving soon.

Chris nodded and served. Really well.

Kiri
Kiri watched. Chris, she thought was the name of the server. He was pretty good...at least they'd started. Kiri had all the time in the world, but she didn't want to hang around all day.

Tyler watched the ball soar through the air and past the net, going straight towards Bryan. Tyler gave a thumbs up to Chris, grinning widely. Tyler then turned his attention to the game. Bryan dove forward and bumped the ball, then Tom set it. Suddenly Ethan, another boy on Bryan's team, spiked the ball at full force, heading straight for Tyler now. He stepped back once and bumped the ball, letting it go over the net. Tom wasn't paying attention, and the ball soared over his head and touched the ground. " One point!" Tyler yelled enthusiastically. " Chris that was awesome." he told him, smiling.

With: " Nobody."
Activity: " Watching the game."

Elsie smiled at the new boy who served well. She clapped her hands. " Good job! Let's go Tyler's team!" she yelled, cheering on the team. She stuck her tongue out at Bryan, and kept on clapping.

Chris smiled. "Thanks," he said cheerfully. Chris was pretty happy he'd been right--he played well. He was also happy to have done so well his first try.

Kiri
Kiri smiled, watching them. Tyler seemed so enthused. It was sort of cute, if a little silly. Kiri also noted the girl's reaction, and found the sticking the tongue out behavior a bit amusing. Kiri laughed a bit, but very quietly. She didn't want to draw attention to herself.

Tyler smiled. " Okay, you serve again." he told him, throwing him the ball once more. Tyler got ready, smirking at Bryce. Bryce shook his head, and breathed out, getting ready. " This time Tom, don't mess up." he growled. Tom nodded, a bit scared.

Tyler watched the ball soar in the air once more. Sadly, Bryce bumped the ball at full force, causing it to go over to Tyler. He stepped forward, ready to set it, but misplaced his footing and tripped, falling flat on his face. He spat some sand out, and noticed his nose was bleeding.
