What the hell? John's eye twitched and he felt his cheeks burning up as he turned away to face the window. He chuckled nervously, a bit weirded out at the comment. Who would even say that? That's kind of creepy...Now, he knew something was definitely wrong. "...I-i don't think that's possible..." Was all that he was able to choke out, at the moment. Why was Dave acting so...Uncool? Wasn't he supposed to be the cool kid out of the two of them? He tried his best to hide his bright red cheeks, embarrassed at what Dave might say.

(karkat is okay because it fits his character. it bugs me when people rp him as really yelly. he has his calm moments gawd.)

"Whatever you say." Dave turned his head to the front again and shrugged. Seriously creepy there. His thought went unanswered and he was a little confused. Had the thing backed down? Dave tried to move his hand, but with no avail. Tsk, tsk. Won't be getting free that easily.

John glanced out the window and at all the houses, letting the sun glint off his blue eyes. "I'm just glad that we're going back to school, for some reason. You know, so I can be...hmm...I guess the words I'm looking for are 'normal again'." Even though it was a perfect day, something was very wrong. In a way, his best friend wasn't his best friend. If he told anyone that, it would just sound crazy. But he wanted to tell someone. He wanted to talk to Rose and be responded to with a novel of text on what to do about it and how to handle the situation. He wanted to hear some of the good advice that Jade usually gave at times like this.

(whoa i just had an idea. ao oni-stuck. one of the trolls/kids goes missing in a haunted mansion, turning trickster and the others go look for them but end up dying one by one and turning trickster too :0)

Dave took a lollipop out of his pocket and unwrapped it, sticking it in his mouth. "Heh, normal." Where did you get that? You bought it yesterday, along with other candy I have hidden in your backpack. Oh. Don't eat too much, cavities are a b*tch to get taken care of. The real Dave could still feel the emotions of the trickster him, and it bugged him that he felt smug. How did this thing even exist? Was it like some sort of bug from the game?

John watched the neighborhood go by intently through the window. As they neared to school, he felt relieved. At least Dave wouldn't be bugging him as much. *Tssss...* He tried to refrain from jumping up from his seat and shouting," Hallelujah!" as best he could. The closest he could get to that was exiting the bus quickly after the door opened. He was eager to go to school today, for some reason. He didn't know why, but it was mostly to somewhat take his mind off of Dave.

When John looked like he would like to run the marathon out of the bus, Dave simply shrugged while the real Dave facepalmed. This is not gonna be a good day. Oh, not for you. For me, well, I'm having a pretty great day. Dave got off the bus and headed into the school, ready to start the day. Already, people had started giving him weird looks, and wondering whether he went through metamorphosis during the weekend.
