John walked into the large lunchroom and looked around. He had lost Dave in the huge cluster of students. Shrugging, he got in line and bought his lunch, then carried it down the aisles to see where Dave was. When he finally got there, he remembered that it was exactly the same place where they both sat yesterday. "Sorry I lost you, Dave! Everyone was scrambling to the lunchline." Plopping down next to him, he opened his milk carton and looked down at his plate.

Dave shrugged and looked at John, "Did you get something edible this time?" He looked over at John's plate and then ate a few fries. Then he looked over at John again. "You okay, man? Could it be you're craving my.... Mcnuggies?"(i am so sorry i had to) He smiled and picked up a chicken nugget, slightly waving it in John's face. Dave ate the chicken nugget and then opened his can of apple juice, taking a sip/

John chuckled and shook his head. "Pffft. No, just...heh...applejuice, man." He said, snickering. He looked over his shoulder to see the bullies whispering and glancing over at he and Dave. It aggrivated him and he rolled his eyes, turning back around. He heard the bullies chuckling, then felt something hit the back of his head. Annoyed, he rubbed his head and turned around once again to see an apple lying on the floor. John grabbed a handfull of fries and threw it at the bully, only to let him duck and have the fries hit someone else in the face. "Food fight!" He heard someone yell. Just then, John watched in horror as the whole cafeteria turned into one giant food fight.

Dave swore as he narrowly dodged a flying burger and he looked back at the kid who threw it. "We should get the hell out here, Egbert." He smirked and tossed a chicken nugget at the flying burger kid and ate another chicken nugget. "this will turn into a full out war soon." He dodged a little too late as one of the bullies threw a milk carton. The milk hit his front and spilled. Dave frowned as he felt it seep through his shirt. At least milk stains came out in the wash.

John ducked his head down and paused for a second to think. "Um...we should, but...I have to do something, first." He picked up his own milk carton and threw it at the bully, milk spilling out all over him. "Serves you right!" Said John, snickering. Before he could turn around to leave, the bully grabbed him by his shirt collar and held him up. "What's wrong with you? Who are you, anyways?" "Oh, I'm sure you remember me. And my friend that you punched. And that girl that you let have detention because of you." John cringed as the bully punched him in to face and let him fall to the ground. The back of his head hit the egde of a table and began to bleed. He had no idea what was happening, anymore. The bully snickered and stepped on his glasses that had fallen on the floor, breaking them.

As soon as the bully pulled John up by the collar, Dave stood up and started to go around the table. When John was punched and he fell, Dave just stomped over to the bully and punched him in the eye, then grabbed him by the shoulders and gave him a nice knee to the crotch. Dave went over to John and squat down, since the cafeteria had gone quiet with those few moments. He looked at the blood pooling on the ground and he inwardly winced. "Stay awake, man, callin' the amberlamps." He pulled out his phone and started dialing, knowing that the school couldn't really do much for a kid with a bleeding head. Dave waved his hand over John's face, "Just don't succumb to the darkness" Dave was pretty worried, but by the sound of sirens nearby, he was a little comforted.

John blinked his blue eyes slowly, but kept them awake afterwards. "Oh, Gog...D-dude I can't see anything...I'm serious..." He slowly put his hand up to his head, then examined all the blood that was on it. "I can't see anything..." Why were bullies so cruel. He cursed to himself as he began to get a headache. When he tried to get himself up, he just fell back down again. His eyelids grew heavy and he toom deep, ragged breaths. For him, the sound of sirens only made things made things seem darker and more dreary. He didn't want to go to the hospital. John took a deep breath and sighed. His weekend was ruined.

"Dude, chill. Just... Don't move. You'll thank me later. " Dave looked over at the bully who was still on the ground, clutching his nards and swearing. Dave glared at the bully an his friends. "You guys are dead meat next time I see you." Dave looked up at the doctors who came in to take John and he looked at his shirt. "Yo, Egbert, stay awake for me. Bro's picking me up in a bit, but I'll be over to see you in a bit." He smiled at John, to reassure him, but he sighed through his teeth. Seriously John, what did you get yourself into?

(timeskip to the hospital? how about john passes out on the ambulance but when he wakes up it's like 4 am and dave is asleep in the chair by the hospital bed or something XD)

I can't move. I feel dead. What's happening? John couldn't yet open his eyes, but he was able to hear himself think because he was only slightly conscious. Why can't I move? Why can't I see? Why can't I wake up? In his sleep, he twisted and turned. The sound of sirens had subsided a while back. Now, he was at the hospital. He tried to get himself to wake up. Slowly, his blue eyes opened and he awoke to the sound of the beeping heart moniter right next to him. He put his hand to his head and felt the spots where the dried blood clung to his hair and felt the gauze that had been so carefully wrapped.

Dave had been really tired that day. After the doctors had taken John to the hospital, Dave had sent some of the bullies home with bloody noses. He'd come home after the fight an changed, but when John's dad called Bro to tell him that John could be visited, it took most of Dave's cool to stay calm. He'd been worrying a lot that night, hoping John was okay. When he got to the hospital, John was sleeping and so he just waited, texing Rose and Jade to tell them John was okay. Dave woke up with a yawn and he quickly put on his shades, looking over at John. "Good morning, sunshine."
